Taste is not bad, price about $1.60-$1.80 slightly expensive. I wish there is a way to heat it up and sell it piping hot so can eat it with kopi in one of the coffee shops nearby.

Really tasty bakery at good prices. Nice variety of western and Chinese style buns and breads. Favorites include: choco bowl, mixed fruit and nut loaf, and if you like coconut, the white coconut and Gula coconut buns are a soft white roll and in the center is a mound of moist coconut larger than a golf ball. They also offer bags of ingredients or snacks - good prices - cranberries, black currants and raisins.

Let me begin by saying that I had purchased an assortment of buns, namely the store's yam and black sesame bun, cheese-topped bun, and vegetarian sausage bun, at a steal of 6 pieces for $5 near dusk, without having any lofty expectations on how they would fare. Never would I have known that a few bites into their yam and black sesame bun was all it takes to convert me into a steadfast patron of their shop. Most bakeries scrimp on their fillings and choose to stuff their buns with preservative and/or sugar laden pastes from bulk confectionary-grade packets of red bean paste, taro paste, etc., but not this humble and unassuming bakery. I must say that I was moved by the authenticity of their taro filling, specifically in how closely it resembled natural grounded yam in taste and the amount of restrain it has practised in limiting its use of sugar. The filling had this mellow, very pale purplish hue quite unlike what you would typically see in yam buns made by penny-pinching, soulless bakeries. Notwithstanding its rather small portion reaching the size of my palm, the price I paid was more than fair with the quality of the buns considered. Even at a non-discounted price of $1 per bun, I would gladly fork out my money for the real deal, not a lump of sugar and chemicals. It goes without saying that I cannot wait to return to the bakery to try the rest of its offerings, which includes but is not limited to wholegrain walnut rustic loaves, wakame bread, etc. Although it does not present the most inspired of flavors, its heart is definitely in the right place. Personally, I feel that its wares are worth your money, and you should definitely give its bread a try if you are in the vicinity of Fortune Centre.

The bread here is not bad. many variety. As this is located in a building beside a temple, there is also vegetarian sausage bun and vegetarian otak, which are not found in their novena outlet. The black sesame paste bread and yam bread is quite soft and nice. The potato mushroom bun is quie flavorful and unique. A bit like chicken pie taste.
