As I need a pair of glasses for reading and computer work, Joyce was informative in explaining how my customised glasses will be better than just for reading only. Very helpful and patient indeed. I like the staff’s warm and friendly service. Definitely I will recommend to my friends.

Was served by Miss Ng Zhi Yun. Her service was excellent. But what I was most impressed with was her attention to the technical details in fitting my glasses. While customer service is important, I think the technical expertise of the optometrist/optician has not been highlighted enough. Most optometrists/opticians just run through the motions and perform only cursory and rushed examinations. Miss Ng was meticulous and careful. She was the only one that took the effort to use a Digital Pupillary Distance Meter and other tools to get an accurate reading/fitting.

Usually dont post things like this but wifey and I had a really poor experience with this optician and thought this might help them improve their approach to customer experience. Waited more than a week to get new lens for a pair of glasses only to find out there was a mistake. This is fine. Things happen. But what was really irritating was their insistence that there was nothing wrong and that we would get used to it. After walking around dizzily for a while had to return them and only then did they check and found out that the left and right lens were swapped so the focal points were off center. My wife and I have worn glasses for almost 30 years and have bought more than a hundred pair of glasses combined. Never came across an optician who couldn’t tell left from right. But no apologies. Just that they would redo them and that we would have to come back again to collect - a waste of everyone’s time. On a call with one of the female staff a few hours later, they seemed to be scapegoating the lab where I guess they outsource the lens manufacturing and fitting job. Had to remind them that to the end customer, it doesn’t matter if it is done in-house or at a third party vendor, the customer-facing store is ultimately responsible for the product. While this was happening with the wife, I was trying on a few frames when one of the older salesman barged in front of me (no hello, no how do you find them) and asked quite loudly which frames I had tried on cuz they needed to sanitize them. Wasn’t aware this was a strict rule as I was at the place a week earlier trying on a bunch of frames with a different salesperson who seemed to just out them back into the display box. Totally fine with this rule but then perhaps they should lock the cases up so that people can only access them with a staff in attendance. Not sure if it’s a Singapore thing (the manner in which he spoke) but they way he approached me felt very abrasive and lacking any sense of customer service. Judge for yourself but from my own experience, I would highly not recommend this place for the poor quality of customer service.

didn’t know a visit there meant being called spoilt and ungrateful by the director himself. to say that i m disappointed by my visit wld be a serious understatement. i wanted contacts so i went there and after multiple visits the friendly staff and I still cldnt find one that gave me clear vision. i was fine with that tho because i felt that they were putting in a lot of effort and time for me each visit entailed the staff asking me “is the vision still blur?”, which led me to believe that with contacts, my vision was supposed to be clear. or so i thought. however, after trying on multiple contact lens brands, the director spoke to me, saying that because of my high astigmatism, it was impossible to get clear vision with contacts. i was shocked that no one had informed me of that during my multiple visits - not even once. i find this terribly frustrating, to say the very, very least i’m sure that if any one else had been in my shoes, they wld feel the same. think abt it, if the staff had told me that there was no way the vision was gonna be clear with contact lenses for my case, i wld never have tried getting them in the first place. i wldnt have gone back to the mall so many times, wasting my travelling hours, and not to mention, the effort of the staff. i do not understand why no one explained such an important piece of information to me yet when i asked the director why they did not inform me that my case wld affect my vision with contacts (to the extent whereby i cldnt read text messages), he cut me off repeatedly, calling me spoilt and repeatedly emphasised that i was not appreciating the “three young girls working there”. he brazenly assumed that i was getting angry over the fact that i cldnt get clear vision from my contacts. i repeated “sorry, i want to clarify that i am not ungrateful…” many times on the phone call with him yet i was cut off repeatedly. i hv never met such a rude person in my life. i hv always been extremely grateful for the “three young girls” (what he said) hard work, and i did not once mention anything abt my being unappreciative so i hv no idea where the director got that weird idea from. however, it doesn’t stop here. during my call with the director, he kept shouting into the phone, interrupting me as well as my mother, calling me spoilt. we cldnt even calm him down. we were both so baffled at what was going on. another purpose of my call was to inform the director of this mistake the staff made, so that they wld not make it for future customers who have a similar case as me. but of course, i didn’t even get to put this message across cos as u wld hv gathered by now, the director cut me off!! repeatedly!! there’s no way any one who was in the car, listening to the call between me and the director wld step into mee mee optics again. the call was the definition of traumatic. rlly don’t think mee mee optics wld like future customers to receive this kind of treatment !!

Went to Mee Mee Optics to get a new pair of glasses. The staff were very friendly and experienced. I needed a bi-focal glasses and my old pair got knocked and does not fit well. The staff helped me clean and adjust my old pair of glasses and did an eye check for me. Gave me good recommendations and help me choose a new pair as its two years since I had my last pair. Just received my new glasses and it fitted well and I can see clearly now. Thank you for the excellence service. Will recommend my friends.

I recommend Mee Mee Optics because I have been using their service for many years and their work continues to give me confidence that I will receive professional and responsible eye care. I have watched them upgrade their services over the years. I also appreciate that not only are my lenses being efficiently calibrated for clear vision but my face is also been enhanced by an expert eye for the best matching frames available on the premises.
