โ โ โ โ โ Have been this desert shop more than 10 years. The desert is still as good as before. Price has increased slightly since then. Durian sago is very thick with genuine durian. Not Mao Shan Wang.

โ โ โ โ โ Wide range of hot and cold desserts at this local joint. Love their peanut paste and their shaved ice desserts.

โ โ โ โ โ Heard this dessert shop always long queue. Popped by after our dinner nearby. Was so lucky we didnโt have to queue and got our table right away. You can find almost all of the traditional Chinese desserts here. I personally think itms better than Ah Chew dessert. 4 of us, we ordered 8 items. One each for 4 of us and ordered 4 more for sharing. Like women always say, there is always a room for dessert. No double their desserts are not bad. We ordered ginkgo barley, egg pudding, Bubur chacha, chestnut pudding, coconut pudding, mango roll, othmantus pudding and milk tea ice. I like the othmantus pudding, coconut pudding and mango roll. Total bill is $32.

โ โ โ โ โ Tasty shaved ice dessert so fine it doesn't melt easily. Priced is quite on the high side like good restaurants.

โ โ โ โ โ Went at 8pm on weekday night and it was crowded. No seats inside so had to seat outside.
Ordered the Mango Pomelo Sago, Logan Peach Gum and the Sasame Almond paste.
Prices are a bit more expensive than desserts stalls elsewhere.
They have another branch at the basement 2 of Chinatown Point which is smaller but fully air conditioned. Next to Daiso and facing Hans Cafe.

โ โ โ โ โ Ah Balling Tang Yuan (SGD $3.20) @ Mei Heong Yuen Dessert.
.
With a 50-year history behind them, this chain serves reliably decent traditional desserts.
.
The large glutinous rice balls have pink or white hues to indicate the type of filling within. It's soft and chewy and sticky, and the filling is generous.
.
The black sesame paste has a coarse creamy texture with an earthy sweet nutty taste, while the peanut paste has a fine chunky texture with a nutty sweet flavour.
.
The ginger soup tends to the sweet side, with the warming spice notes to complement.

โ โ โ โ โ I tried the mango shaved ice ($6.50). It's one of the best shaved ice I have eaten! The ice texture is very fine, soft and doesn't melt so quickly. Quite a big portion, so it's best to share. It's on the pricer side compared to other dessert shops but I'll eat this again ?
