I probably should have left this review a long time ago. My partner and I were tossing up between meowstay and one other cat hotel in July but we opted for meow stay as it was significantly cheaper. I think we saved 300 dollars for the 2 weeks we were away.. Which was not worth it in the end because we paid up to $1200 on vet bills when we returned. "free to roam" sounds nice because who wants their cat holed up in a box 24/7? For those of you who are uneducated on the RISKS of cat boarding houses (like I was) you should do your research. None of this is Evans fault as I can tell he loves cats and wouldn't want any harm coming to the cats but for the sake of everyone's pets there should be information and full disclosure available on the website about running the risk of pets catching or spreading cat flu and even FIV (cat flu stays for life much like the herpes virus and is continuously shed through saliva and fur even if your cat looks healthy it will continuously spread the virus and it is highly contagious.) your cat may have the virus dormant in its system until times of stress where symptoms may arise. Every legitimate boarding house should also ask for the medical history and vaccinations of each boarder, not just a parasite and flea treatment. I wish I had known this before leaving our boy at a boarding house. Not just this one but any boarding house in the future. We will only do home visits and pet sitters from now on as he is now terminally ill. (FIV and cat flu remain in his system)

Very clean despite it being so affordable! Owner himself is a cat lover and you can definitely tell that all the cats under his care are very much loved. It was very reassuring to have received daily updates/pictures throughout my cat's stay. Would definitely go back to him in future!

Evan looked after my cat Miu for 20 days when I traveled. I highly recommend Evan because he’s great with cats and his place is well-equipped for short cat stays. I received photos of Miu from time to time. It seems like Miu had a great time with Evan and his three lovely kitties! :)

Had a fantastic experience with Meow Homestay! This was my cat's first time away from home, and they made him feel super comfortable and happy. Also updated me with photos of him daily ? UPDATE: Just sent my cat again this year in June 2019. Had a fantastic stay again!

I just gotten myself a kitten and had already planned for family vacation a few months back. Being a new cat owner I was glad that I found Evan, the owner of Meow Homestay. Evan is a very friendly guy and understand towards my situation that he’s able to take in my kitten even though it was a late arrangement. The price was reasonable and I appreciate that he gave me daily updates of my kitten well being. Thank you Evan!

Boarded my 2 cats with Evan this year and I am very happy with his service. Pick-up and drop- off service provided and cost is very reasonable. Evan is a true animal and cat lover. I might even say he loved my cats more than myself! My cats were able to settle in just within a couple of days, compared to my previous other experiences which took almost a week. I attribute this to Evan’s care and accompaniment with my cats. Evan is also very experienced at handling and understanding cat behaviour, whether you cat is stressed, happy, nervous etc. He also kindly informed me that one of my kittens was close to maturity, which was very much appreciated as I myself was wondering when the right time to spay her was. Evan also sends photos and videos of my cats daily and very responsive to messages. Will definitely board my cats with him again!

Evan was very nice and accommodating in settling my cats in. I had them at meow home stay for a week and my cats became relaxed and comfortable within a couple of days. Both of them were well taken care of and Evan also spent time with my cats entertaining them. Daily WhatsApp updates and pics were regular and he would share how my cats were doing. A totally stress free home boarding for me to place my cats at. Pricing also was budget so it was affordable. I would recommend his services and also use them again.

Sent our two cats there for 10 days. Evan was extremely approachable and accommodating, and would take the initiative to keep us updated with videos and photos to assure us that they were coping well. Price is extremely reasonable, and you can be certain that your fur kids are in good hands!
