There used to be a popular fishball noodle in this particular coffeeshop. Apart from that, it also has a very popular stall selling Fried Hokkien mee. I was there around 11am-ish and there was already a long queue and it was moving pretty slow. At this stall, they only serve poached chicken. A plate of chicken rice starts from SGD$2.50 onwards. I would have upsized my meal if I knew about it earlier. Portion for SGD$2.50 is quite little which is quite understandable. I really like the rice, which was very fragrance and fluffy. Choose the breast meat as that is what I would usually order. Meat was perfectly cooked; it wasn’t dry nor tough. The sauce that comes with meat has a nice balance of savory and sweetness. Apart from the standard chili sauce, they also provide the garlic and ginger paste. Would highly recommend this chicken rice stall, if you happen to be at Serangoon, do check it out!
