β β β β β Doesn't taste like I remember it used to be. Think different recipe or owner. Doesn't taste like cheng tng at all. More like sugared water. Even my son stop eating it because he says that it is too sweet

β β β β β This stall had been in this location for ages since it was the old hawker centre . For $1.50 you had a bunch of stuff like rambutan with pineapple , sago , ginko nuts and longan. Is sweet water as it's Chinese name implies, however is what you need in a hot humid tropical day . Chomping down the finely grated ice and sweet syrup . The ginko is sweet to my liking . Yum yum .

β β β β β Donβt even know why this was recommended by the food bloggers . cheng Tng is like the most straightforward desert and this can taste so bad . Itβs literally sugared water from the canned lychee. Never seen canned lychee used in cheng Tng before . Even the ingredients are not fresh and taste laden in sugar syrup .
