A rather unassuming pastry and cakes I received this month Mon Cerise Patisserie Each cake has distinctive taste of what u see as the fruits on top I don't feel these cakes like any other cake with just custard cream. One thing u will find that the cake taste represent to each name when I eat the lemon basil the taste that I get is lemon basil not on sugar custard haha. And blueberry cheesecake. Yes it is blueberry and cream cheese not sugarly sweet cream cheese My FAV would go to the lemon basil the one look like the flower. It tastes like ice cream!!! U can feel the tangy sweet and basil taste on the creamy cream. And the crust is another heaven it tasty unlike those u find in the market with just bland taste of crust. Unfortunately I have to share this with le hubby. Ha ha for him to say eh got some herbs.. It's impressive for someone that can't even differentiate the taste haha Second fAve is blueberry cheese cake, it has hint of Lemon that makes the cheesecake doesn't feel so heavy for a person that not into cheesecake this blueberry cake successfully ask me to finish the whole cake in about 5min ya I'm not that greedy tho. But this cake mix made me eat and finish it at one sitting, sorry hubby I finish this on behalf of you The strawberry with vanilla almond is another amazing blend... The sweetness of the vanilla almond cream is blending well with the fresh strawberries. I thought I have never liked strawberries it is sour. But the cream balance the sourness of the strawberry. He he he this one I only ate one bite.. Since I have bad preconception of strawberry. Le hub finish this in no time.. After shower I was trying to find the strawberry and its gone to his tummy The raspberry with orange and light pistachio pastry cream and light pistachio on top before the raspberry do well balanced. Not overly sour (yes the fresh raspberry is sour) but the pastry chef made it well by combining that with the orange pistachio cream. I don't taste the cream too overpowering and I don't taste the raspberry too sour. The hazelnut pralines and choc sponge with hazelnut cream and dark chocolate mouse. Really live up to its name. The crust really chocolatey and the choc cream is rich and not too sweet I guess it's because the chef using dark chocolate. Needless to say this is good as desert to clean my bakchang.. Hahaha Sorry le hub this is going to my tummy I will definitely look out at their bake sale. To try various lovely cakes I read abit from the chef. She graduated from le cordon bleu London. Because after she has worked as pastry chef at Langham hotel UK!!! I remembered dined at roux at the landau few years back and amazed by the desert.

The cakes and pastries from Mon Cerise Patisserie are simply amazing! Beautiful and pleasing to look at, packed full of flavour but yet did not taste unhealthy. I would definitely order more from this little hidden gem!

Online home based patisserie that do tarts that are addictive! The ingredients used were fresh and the flavour creations were superb with just the right amount of flavour, not too sweet! Its worth a try if you managed to secure any of their bake sales!
