β β β β β Been to woodlands and here. The food portion is a lot. I always eat the steak with egg and rice. Curry spicy is not so bad. Steak is always cooked to perfection. Medium well but moist and juicy. Recommend level 1 if you can take spicy food. 2 or 3 just nice. Lunch set is limited to 4 type of main dishes and includes soup, drink and ice cream (haagen-Daz). This place is quieter due to covid restrictions. Staff is more courteous and professional. Prefer it to the Woodlands one. Side dish that were nice were takoyaki. Karaage chicken was normal. My wife and her colleagues come here almost every week for lunch. I will definitely return.

β β β β β Great food option in town for hearty servings of Japanese curry dishes. They have jumbo plates for sharing. Quantity & quality wise is really good imo! Left the place super full and satisfied.
Staff is excellent and super polite!
Venue is not large so expect some waiting time during meal times.

β β β β β Had a very pleasant experience eating here. In most places in Singapore, causal dining restaurants do not provide much service except for order taking and the serving of food. Sometimes food is just placed on the table and server walks off.
However, it was totally different here at this outlet. I had to peep at Faridahβs name tag as I was impressed by her excellent professional service and she was so friendly. 10 stars for her service. Itβs rare to find such service in Singapore. Recommendations were made and as it was our first time, she even gave us a menu for easier reference.
Food was delicious and quick. Portions were huge. I had to stop 2/3 way before I could continue. Loved the omelette. Beef and chicken were a little dry but still delicious. Wished the gravy had a stronger spice taste. (Not in terms of spiciness)
We had a tiring day and the dining experience at Monster Planet ended our day very nicely.

β β β β β Tried the 2-pax meal and we already struggled to finish. Service is great, food was good too, though it felt a bit too rich. Would recommend if youβre craving for Japanese curry (and also halal). We didnβt choose the chili to be mixed with the curry and chose to order separately, which is a great option for people with poor tolerance to spice like me. Tried it and it was super spicy, probably the higher level of spice as we didnβt get choose the level of spice when we chose it to come separately.
