Eriko Yamaguchi is the founder of Motherhouse and her amazing story of wanting to create quality, ethically-made leather goods prompted a visit to their second outlet in Singapore. The staff members provided excellent service. Upon entering the store, the staff would eagerly greet you and share with you the story of Motherhouse. They would also make the effort to highlight design and colours of each product. Each product is well-made and feels comfortable to hold and to carry. They carry a variety of products from backpacks, handbags to wallets and pencil cases. Motherhouse strongly believes in the quality of their product and the quality of their after-sales service care. As such, they do not run any promotions or sales. PS: while Motherhouse does not run any promotions, you can still look out for the seasonal Suntec "Spend & Win" promotions that would help to further stretch your dollar.

Hello Keli, Oh that’s sad to hear. Seems to be a lost for your company. Please pass on my best wishes to her. Also by hearing disabilities, I meant they were deaf. They couldn’t speak at well. If not why would she write on a book to communicate with them. I took a glance at her book and she was writing in English. So your manager’s version of story does not stand. It’s honestly disappointing to see your manager making up excuses for his behaviour and for your company to seemingly cover his mistake as well. Perhaps because this compliment is for a staff instead of the manager. If I was not sure about what was happening I wouldn’t have taken the time to write in. Hopefully your Suntec manager can take the time out and reflect on his behaviour and be honest to the management. Your company should have checked the CCTV before writing this reply. The portion about the cleaning you made it seemed as if she was at fault for cleaning on a weekend. Guess I will not be patronising the store anytime soon as this reply was rather disappointing and made me feel uncomfortable. Your reply should have been more professional. I took the time and effort to write in this review but it seems as if your company was trying to write her efforts off. - - Was at Suntec City Outlet yesterday but I didn’t see the staff that caught my attention. Last Saturday (20/3) I saw one of your staff extremely patient serving a group of customers with hearing disabilities. Writing in this review because she deserved to be praised. The girl was wearing a blue jacket and had long black hair. She showed no signs of annoyance despite the language barrier was extremely patient and bothered to take a book to write and explain to the customers. There was another guy staff in the shop who stood rather far away and didn’t seem to want to have anything to do with this group of customers to a certain extent looking slightly impatient. Even after the purchase I saw that she patiently explain how to care for the leather to the customers. Earlier that afternoon when I walked pass the shop I remember seeing the same girl climbing and cleaning the top of the shelves again the other two staff cannot be bothered to help her even though the shop was empty. Will be dropping by again when she’s around as I went yesterday but she wasn’t around as I prefer to be served by her!

I've bought quite a number of bags from Motherhouse. The bags are of high quality and more importantly the service from both the staff at the store and their office is top notch. They have a lifetime cleaning service which I have been using for the different bags of the past 6 months. Their manager, Keli, is always prompt at attending to my questions and requests and for that I really appreciate their help a lot. Will continue to support :)

Came into the store as a curious customer and walked out with a happy purchase. Bee Ting was very knowledgeable and patient with me although I asked a lot of questions. Exemplary service and the fact that they provide the after care means I will be coming back often. Thanks!
