My friends purchased an Upang UV steriliser from motherwork for my baby shower gift. They purchased the machine in April and I have opened the machine in May (near to my edd) only to find out the machine failed to work properly. I have informed motherwork immediately and they refused to exchange for a new machine because it has passed 7 days of purchase and the only solution is to liaise with the vendor directly. It isn’t unusual for people to purchase baby shower gifts in advance of edd (especially gifts for baby shower), to have a 7 days exchange policy is impractical, especially for a shop which caters for mothers and babies.

My husband and I have visited this outlet plenty of times over the past few weeks to learn more/ compare strollers for our 1 year old. The service staff at the outlet always seemed to be engaged in a conversation and every time we posed a question like "Where is this from?'" "How do we recline/ fold this?," they always have to ask each other first and then form a solution. Just last night, we were ready to purchase the Baby jogger mini GT2 and asked for the belly bar (as it was sold together with the stroller.) When we approached a female bespectacled staff about it, she was clueless. She went to the back and brought out a city tour 2 belly bar. One look at these 2 strollers and you'd know that the widths differ by a lot. She asked a male staff to re-confirm if she could use this and he said, "Just try lor." She did try and needless to say, it does not fit. When I told her they are two different models, she asked ANOTHER staff and she was just as clueless as her. I was then informed that it was out of stock after they went to check in their back of house. 1. Why display this stroller & market it with the bundle (+ belly bar). 2. Why chit chat why you can spend more time learning about the products instead. 3. Why ask if I have anything you can help with, if all basic questions are needed to be "check with my colleague" first. So disappointed and put off by the perpetual lack of service/ knowledge by this team of staff.

Have shopped here several times and am always impressed by the service provided by Zac. He’s friendly, patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable about all the products. We bought a stroller and he offered to put it together for us. The last time I bought a baby carrier and asked to use it right away, he also offered to throw away the packaging and helped me put it on.

The store is great but I really hope Ms. Sharon Wong can assess her female staffs’ attitude. Every time when I want to ask/consult the staff, always see black faces and it seems the staff doesn’t want to talk to anyone at all. (Male staffs were helpful). There are so many brands/products which may confuse new parents, and it will be really helpful if the staff may provide more professional information.

I'm so glad we went with Motherswork to set up our baby nursery. Even the birth registry, I had decided to go with them too for an ease of mind! The in-store experience was impressive, the environment was calm and easy. We had one of the shop consultants to guide us through our needs and wants (what we should really buy instead) and our visit lasted longer than expected. I will also give kudos to their after sales customer service via WhatsApp and Instagram. Patience is key and my questions were answered duly. I cannot wait for our BabyB to enjoy the nursery and all the items with it!
