★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was ok. Nothing to shout about. The Ayam Goreng ($15.5) was good. Sayur Lodeh or curry vegetables ($9.50) just so so and a tad watery. And the Sop Buntut or Oxtail Soup ($6.50) was rather bland.
The place was quite fully packed on a Friday evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Soto Ayam was very salty even after adding warm water. It was simply inedible. The Soup Buntut meat was like rubber and the soup is also very salty. Hurt my teeth trying to chew it. My last visit to the restaurant.

A great place for family and friends. Will visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to check out the outlet at Great World City for dinner. It is located on Basement 1. The decorations are similar to the original Tambuah Mas at Tanglin but with a tad modern decor. The customer service is good. We ordered the Ayam Korma and it sizzles. The gravy is just right and not too spicy. The two pieces of chicken are tender and flavorful. The Perkadel with ayam is another hit. The potatoes patty is infused with bits of chicken and fried to perfection. Our favorite is the Tahu Telor - the tofu is fried with egg and dark sweet sauce. This is the reason why I came tonight. Another winner and delicious too. My wife ordered Gado Gado and she loved it to the moon and back. Overall a good experience. Nothing to complain except maybe the QR code ordering seems to have some ‘Gremlins’ but the service staff is quick to assist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is not bad but it doesn't means it's good. To be frank food standard does not seems any better than your typical food store. Perhaps some hawker store may surpass it for the tasty department. Price is on the high side as 3 drinks 3 rice set and a satay put you around 100 bucks SGD. Staff is understanding and they try to accommodate. The good part of it is the wide selection of typical Indonesian dishes. Some dishes are rather rare locally. Overall if you are looking for some Indonesian ambience and has lesser expectations for Indonesian food. This maybe a place for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their Tahu Telur is good!!! Then again, Tahu Telur is always good eh!!! Cannot comment on authenticity but the food is really nice and flavourful. Soup was tasty (albeit small) and everyone was fighting over the spicy crispy squid.
The fried chicken, while good, is not the fastfood style and hence not very popular with the kids. Otherwise, everyone left satisfied and we had all these, + free flow of rice, for under 100 for 4 big eaters!!!
And oh! Did i mention that the Tahu Telur is really good?!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lunch at this Indonesian restaurant on Christmas Eve 2021. Restaurant manager was very attentive and the service was great.
Initially the chef left out the chicken for chap chye goreng, but quickly added in after we pointed it out. Food was not bad, will come back to try out some of the other dishes.
