Absolute worst service I have received from a bank. Staff has bad attitude. I went at 11:15 to open an account physically as I am a foreigner. The receptionist lied and said I cannot do it here as they only do online services. I called him out on the lie and he admitted that actually they can do it but the manager that can open my account is late so I can come back later. He took my name and phone number and said he will call when she is here. He never called. I had to go back 1 hour later to check ,and then she is there. I went to the room with her to open an account but she did not have a good attitude. She did not explain the services they offer clearly and I kept having to clarify. I even had to educate her on the service that I want as I had seen on the Maybank website, which she kept claiming they don't have such a thing. I had to literally go to the Maybank website and point her to the account type I want to open and she just responded with "Ok we can try lor". Barely any eye contact while corresponding with her. I don't understand how the quality of client facing staff can be so bad. Once finished the application she said I have to just wait without giving any details. I had to keep clarifying on how long I have to wait and how I will be contacted. When I asked "How long?" She just responded with "A while lor" so I followed up with "What is the average time I have to wait?" She paused and just said "1 week" in a manner as if she pulled that number out of thin air. Did not even look at my face when I exited. Extremely bad customer service for a flagship branch. Maybank you need to do better.

Amazing queue matric system. Customers can press queue number at designated machine or their digital banking pad/tab located at Mellower Coffee and input their hp number for notification your queue number has been called with counter number. Only 2 staff are seen at counter only. I have been sitting there for more than 30min, no staff approach I. Maybe they see me as in wearing casually in jeans and tshirt who may not want a banking with them. I'm actually on my a week holiday in Singapore and I do have Maybank Singapore account with them. I do have my debit card problem which I can't use paywave function at Mellower Coffee. All digital operated at Mellower Coffee. No cash term.

19 Apr 2022 cycled over and popped into Maybank Orchard. My 1st visit. Greeted by friendly young ladies sorted out my "tech" issues with my login. (forgot user name and also forgot password!). Just some quick verifications and a strong flat white - all done! Thank you Maybank!

If you arrive before they open and it’s your first time, you might get confused as to where the bank is. Or maybe it’s just me haha. The bank is infused with a coffee shop so just enter either the coffee shop or the ATM area. This bank is like a pop-up branch so it’s not the conventional type. Staff is friendly and seem competent. 4-stars only as I was attended to late.
