Tze Char served fast on a Friday evening. Pleasant dining experience. Ordered 1 Chilli Crab, Hot plate tofu, Salted egg chicken, 6 buns and 3 plates of rice for $65.40. Worth it ?

Good neighbourhood coffeeshop with many food to choose. In particular the new Western food stall expect long queue during peak time.

Some of the amongst the best local dishes here, like this Hokkien Mee for example. The broth gels the noodles and ample ingredients in harmony, whist the robust chilli adds on another kick to the flavour. This is probably one of the most underrated Hokkien Mee in Singapore that hardly many know of. Other notable shops are the duck rice, prata, chicken rice and mixed rice. Actually, please don’t come... I want my table space, don’t add on to the crowd already... ** tse char changed owner, new tse char sucks...

Updated nov2021 Tried the hor fun seafood which was called bbq seafood. Couldnt find their stall on google map. It one of the better local coffeeshop style hor fun seafood i have tried. Sweet and sour was good and their sambal belachan is indeed nice. Older post Sell lot of local favorite like wanton noodle, ayam penyet, prata, duck and char siew rice, econ rice. Tanjong rhu wanton noodle is located here

Plenty of nice food at reasonable prices at this neighborhood coffeeshop. Special mention for the Ban Mian stall that sells a mean fried bee hoon at $3. Cooked with seafood stock and full of wok hei.

Review for the Tanjong Rhu wanton mee. There’s a small queue during weekday lunch. I find the taste abit diff to the stall beside old airport hawker. It’s not bad but not as good. So I think u can try only if u in the area.
