★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a interesting piece of public exhibit. I discover about it in the internet and went to witness it myself and also was fortunate enough to experience the early shophouses which are still standing and their Perankan influenced designs with colour paintings. (Now its mostly and favourite spot for hipsters.) So do visit this Murals where you travel thru time.
The Mural: Barber Shop is at the Alley from the Mural: Amah, its literally the next wall.
Definetly it will weep up some nostalgic feel for some. Its 5 minutes walk from Outram Park MRT station, alight at Gate G . Great photography opportunity. There is also other Murals beside and do visit the murals at Tiong Bahru and Tiong Bahru Market as well with just two bus stops away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mural shows an Amah, a helper hired to do some houseworks, is washing clothes traditionally. A batik with Peranakan pattern and a kebaya encim is hanging to dry. There is a cupboard with lovely oldtimes households. So live and lovely. The color is beautiful.. I think I am a fan of Yip Yew Chong, the artist.
