To be honest, I had my reservations about this soup bak chor mee before I set out to explore it. After all, the boss is a young lad in his 20's and the popular impression in the world of traditional hawker fare is that old hawkers do it best. But I stand corrected. ? In fact, this is probably one of the best soup bak chor mee I've ever had by far, if not the best. The broth is of course the "soul" of any soup bak chor mee. And in this case, it sure did justice to this traditional noodle dish that's passed down through the generations. The broth was full of umami flavours from the pork bones, minced pork and fried dried sole fish powder, enhanced by just the right amount of aromatic sauteed chopped garlic and oil and freshly fried crispy pork lard. And it's perfectly seasoned. Not overly garlicky or salty. A really soothing bowl of soup to the last drop! Noodles were springy and cooked perfectly, and the Teochew dumplings were really delish. Eating a piping-hot bowl of soup bak chor is always a sweaty affair for me. But in this case, it was well worth the sweat (pun intended). Kudos to the young chef of noodles! *Pats on the back* ;D

A above average bowl of bar Chor mee. Ordered the soup one w mee Kia. It comes a lot of meat w minced meat, meatball n dumpling. The noodles have the alkaline taste which I didn’t like but still can accept for this. The soup is on lighter side n doesn’t have strong msg after taste Can try if in the area. But there’s queue during Monday lunch crowd

Greatly improved, the noodles used to have the distinct Alkaline/Ghee taste. It’s now al dente and springy with no sign of off flavours. The minced meat used is flavourful and the dumplings are meaty-sweet too. Simply one of the best ??

I was there for Muslim food with my colleague. The nasi padang and gado gado, AND nasi lemak are very very nice. All these at the halal section of the coffeeshop.

I would come here just to buy the dumplings because they sell 30 at $10 and their dumplings are really good. Tasty and big! The noodle texture is good too but the soup isn't that great. Pretty bland for a noodle soup dish and not that fragrant. Also because of the construction going on, the space is very limited, max 2 per table. And the place isn't very clean, while I was eating there was a housefly around the table all the time so it might be more enjoyable to tabao the food home to eat.

I really wanted to like this cos I travelled all the way for it. In terms of things they did well, I would say service was friendly, price is reasonable. Noodle texture was al dente (just right) and minced pork was tender and clean. unfortunately it fell short in many ways: soup had virtually no flavour, it's like drinking fried garlic oil with hot water. Minced pork was scant. The entire dining environment was also very very dirty with a lot of birds and non stop bird droppings from the ceiling, unsure when one will unfortunately fall on you or your food...

Very unique but cute stall name - My Father’s Minced Meat Noodles! It is located inside a very old coffeeshop & quite easy to locate with help from their signage placed outside the coffee shop. Love the soup as it is boiled with pork bones & the taste is just beyond description ??

Tried the daddy’s ? $5.50 dry noodle. Noodle was super soft and springy. The best part was the meatball baby. It’s super small but I didn’t expect it to explode in my mouth. Service was excellent and the guy seems super friendly. Not sure why it’s called daddy minced noodle but I would recommend it to everyone especially anyone who has daddy issues
