β β β β β We had three aircon units installed iby Natural Cool in January 2018 .
All three units stalled suddenly at the same time and we thought it was due to grime and dust that clogged all the units or a compressor's mechanism fault.
We then arranged for an aircon maintenance company to clean the aircons.
The worker run a check and found that one of the aircons' pipe had burst which resulted in a gas leak, not due to any mechanism fault.
The worker shared with us that new aircons would not need to top up the gas pipe just under slightly more than a year. The leak was mainly due to the contractor's inappropriate laying of the pipes.
Natural Cool refused to take the responsibility for the gas leak and to absorb the full cost.
Their argument was that it had exceeded a period of 12 months which ended in January 2019 and also cited a reason for not engaging them to investigate the problem initially.
The matter in question is, how would we know there was any gas leak? Instinctively we would have suspected a clog.
