β β β β β My colleagues and I attended their negotiation skills training course at The Regent Hotel Singapore. The name of the training course was: " Negotiation Leadership Program " We enjoyed the training because the content was eye-opening and relevant to our industry and really speaks to the real-world of business and human psychology in the context of our daily negotiation. The course leader Mr J C Chan is a highly experienced negotiator and he shared many stories and examples that we have not read of in the books or mass media. He was able to do this because he travels extensively around the world to research and teach. We also learned that he is an avid reader and he was like our personal book summary of negotiation books. As someone in our class said:" J C Chan reads the world; we read J C Chan!"

β β β β β Interesting negotiation training course with the right blend of theoretical underpinnings backed by research and real-world scenarios for discussion and practice. In particular, I liked the Google vs Microsoft vs Facebook case study.
We gained fresh insights into the negotiation process and have a stronger appreciation of how psychology plays an important role in all negotiations. A lot of practical strategies and tips from J C Chan.
The participants were quite diverse, from a range of industries and cultural backgrounds. Truly representing the real-world dynamics of negotiation, especially cross-cultural negotiation.
Ideal for senior managers and entrepreneurs who have to negotiate as part of their job role and have real negotiation KPIs.
For me, the ROI is good as I picked up one solid strategy which was worth over $75,000 - the incremental profit for a $1.5 million dollar deal.
