β β β β β There was nothing bad about the meal though nothing really stood out as amazing. Best dish of the night was the oysters.

β β β β β Bads:
- Mostly unfriendly staff (cold attitude, no smile, no replies)
- Poured my whisky all over the table without an apology or bother cleaning up the mess and literally walks away?
- Manager doesnβt take any responsibility and acknowledge mistake (not wearing a mask in the restaurant, seriously?)
- Charged me for the wrong table even though I was handed the correct bill (?)
Good:
- Nice ambiance and vibes of the actual restaurant
- Owner took responsibility and fixed mistakes of the incompetent staff
Appreciate the gesture of the owner to fix up the mistakes, but the manager and some of the crew really needs work. Iβve never felt so disgusted at the hospitality of any restaurant ever.

β β β β β Been there twice (3 times including their old spot). I really enjoyed the food, pretty much tried everything on the menu since they are all tasting portions. Soft shell crab bao is my favourite. Their seafood is generally slightly tastier than their meat dishes. Both rice are excellent. Vegetable dishes were soooo good. I enjoyed the cauliflower which I don't usually order. Cocktails are pretty good, but not a big selection, and they don't have much premium choices for alcohol.
Ambience is nice and chic and semi night club ish. The toilet was so dark it took me half a minute just to find the door lock.
Would I come back again? Not likely. Music was way too loud, can't talk or hear anything without shouting. What happened to Covid times and no loud music in restaurants?? Also after tasting everything on the menu, there is nothing exciting left to try. So it's those kinda place whereby you really enjoy it the first couple times, and then move on. Also the 90 minutes table turn around time means you can't really enjoy a good dinner before getting kicked out, despite spending all that $$$.

β β β β β Service staff very hospitable and friendly. All the food items we ordered were absolutely delicious. Must order the oysters and scallops. My friend who doesnβt usually like hummus also loves the hummus here. Personally feel they can be more generous with the curry toasted bread that comes with the hummus. Small portion came with 4-5 pieces only I think. Had to get another round of bread for $3 and also 4-5 pieces. Ribs super flavorful but not exactly fall off the bone. That being said, iβll skip the wagyu next time and order more ribs. Will return again to try the rest of the menu.

β β β β β The place has a nice atmosphere for friends gathering, but the food is just ok. Lots of effort made to add creative and Asian fusion flavours but I was not impressed by the taste. In overall quite pricy for the portion size.

β β β β β An interesting Japanese fusion concept with quite a few interesting cocktail mixers. Food is a bit of a hit and miss though - the steak is decent for a non steakhouse (though still pricey), but I probably would give the marrow with uni a miss. My main gripe (subjective) with the place though is that the music is really loud and we found ourselves semi shouting over the music the entire evening just to have ourselves heard.

β β β β β Feels closer to a tapas bar than an Izakaya place. Most of the food is fusion rather than Japanese, but pretty good for the most part.
Good place to chill, but a little on the pricey side. I think there's one particular barista/waitstaff that might be an attraction for a ladies night out.
Ambience: Really unique decor. The drinks menu reads like a comic strip, which was cool.
Food: Pretty good, depending on what you order. Highly recommend the curry hummus and the soft shelled crab bao. Shishito peppers are meh, ribs taste decent, but not tender. Grilled scallops can be a hit or miss, imo the sauce didnt go well together.
Portions are decent. As an ordering reference, 4 plates per pax is more than enough
Drinks: Not a big drinker, but their drinks selection is pretty good. They've got unique mixes and your typical spirits/beer.
Price point (2022): About $80-100+/pax depending on your appetite and drink choice. They do have a convenient $100 combo that gets you more than enough food and 2 cocktails
*Credits to friend who took awesome food pics

β β β β β Though the food was tasty, it was really not worth the tiny portions and price (like bone marrow is $26 and its a few teaspoons of marrow).
If you come here I recommend the baby back ribs - very flavorful but oily. And the soft shell crab bao. For dessert I love the bonsai 3.0 ?.
Don't get the truffle rice as it takes super long and it's mushy, not nice.
