NHGP - Geylang Polyclinic - 21 Geylang East Central

This is my 1st visit to Geylang Polyclinic as CGH discharged me .To further help my medical condition, needs future observation and prescription ,I chose G. polyclinic to do that. From Convid protocol check ✅, appointment entry ,see doctor ?, collection of meds,make future appointment and payment all done digitally with staffs offer ? with smiles ?? with ?? on of course if you are observed properly in their faces and ?️?. They are friendly, attentive and prolite to walk-in or patients with appointments. Attached were my digital receipts and appointment slips.

Waiting time significantly reduced during our last visit. Entire building looks brighter than before. Toilet sanitary needs more improvements. Urine odor is overpowering that can be smelt even up to the treatment / appointment rooms on the ground floor.

Have visited here a few times. Doctors nurses are in general very good. What is even better is it seems the waiting time has been greatly improved. Had a lab test appoitment today and waited for less than 10 mins before it is done despite a large crowd. Not sure whether it will be consitently fast. Will observe in future. Hope the algorithms prioritize those with appoitment and arrive on time to reinforce positive behavior.

I was less than 15 min late due to bus route road traffic accident on the way the dental clinic. I was asked to reschedule my appointment despite the fact that i can wait.

Nurse Pauline was very helpful and kind. She directed me to the right place when I was lost.

Yesterday I went to visit my uncle then only know that he needed help regarding ART. He told me that he went to CC and Geylang polyclinic for help. He went from counter to counter but nobody helped him. He was told by a staff that the manager or supervisor will assist him. According to my uncle, once the lady hear the word ART, without allowing him to further explain, she just ask him to go over to another zone? I mean how can a manager or supervisor being so unprofessional? He’s an elderly who needed help! Maybe other staff can be unfamiliar but how can an upper-rank staff be like this too?

My mum appointment on 10/5/2022. The appointment timing is 10.35am . She reached was early at 9am. But the others is keep jumping to 1450 . She checked with counter 3 staff,but no sure the race is malay or Philippine. But can speak mandarin. She checked with them why she reached early and paid extra money $30 to book an appointment reached early also couldn't see doctor yet? The poly system look like "inflexible". And the counter staff answer is your appointment is 10.35am so you must wait till your appointment timing just can go in and see doctor at 10.35am. My mum have diabetes and high blood pressure could please think she was fasting for whole night never eat anything and rush for appointment in the earlier also couldn't see the doctor earlier ? No sure why the polyclinic system like that. And the counter staff purposely don't call her on time and purposely wait till 10.45am just want to ask her go in to see doctor and the nurse busy with nothing and said herself is busy. I not sure how come those counter nurse staff come with those bad and rude attitudes! It's really worsen attitude to a elderly. Really disappointed ! To publics images the counter nurse staff suppose is friendly and helpful. Could please improve the customer service in this service line ? If patients not sure what is going on could please come expain with nicely and patience talk.

This is the only place that I have been going to for my chronic and health issues. For more than 20 years, each and every single different doctor whom attended to me have been super nice. Clear, calm and caring. Thank you all for the good service. God bless u all.
