NTUC Health Denticare (previously Unity Denticare) – Hougang (General Dental Treatments, Teeth Whitening, Scaling & Polishing)

I sent my 5years old there (almost 6) first time to his dentalcare. I give them a 5 because the dentist that we have encountered he was very good and patience when handling my son, tell what is next, show him how is done. Good one.

Worst experience that my husband had with this dental clinic. The doctor in charge is very irresponsible and did not explain clearly on the implant process, leave my husband hanging without front teeth for more then 2weeks. We have paid $280 for a temporary mould, waited for more then 2weeks, no update and when call him, was told then we have to go for the consultation of implant at paragon branch then he can make for us the temporary teeth. Totally nonesense process, unprofessional dental we have ever experienced.

Did scaling ,polishing & additional charge for fluoride gel. I've been to so many dental clinics to had tis treatment done, but tis was the worse result i received. Did not even provide customer a mirror to show u after treatment. Service provided was in a rush. Look into mirror after I reach home to check ,but its not clean . I could even see calculus on my teeth. Will nv ever recommend.

Terrible, charged me $147 for basic scaling polishing and fluoride gel. Had a membership card which entitled me to a $99 package for the same services I received or a 10 percent off but they refused to give the package to me saying ‘its been very long since my last visit so doctor had to charge you more based on oral hygiene’. But, during the consult earlier the dr said my oral health was fine and it was as short as a basic dental consult could be. Nowhere was it stated that the package could only be used if the clinic was visited regularly. They eventually kept making excuses saying that they could only give me the 10 percent and charged me $133. The lack of transparency and exorbitant pricing for such a basic dental service in a clinic that is under NTUC is shocking and disappointing. Why advertise a package if you cannot honour it? Will never visit the clinic again.

Firstly, customer service provided by the counter staff was unsatisfactory. The counter staff had an expressionless face and was very unwelcoming. Her attitude seemed like she was sick and tired of her role. Was giving one word responses with her stoned expression. Get someone who fits the bill of having a proper customer service experience to sit there because her inhospitable attitude can scare the customers away. Secondly, dentist's way of scaling & polishing was ridiculous. With a shoddy service like this, it's not even worth paying the high price. (over $100 bill just for basic service). Daylight robbery, indeed! Dentist didn't even do a proper check on my teeth and just rushed on with the cleaning. Scaling was bad as dentist just skipped some of my teeth and didn't do a proper deep cleaning. In other dental clinics I've been to, I will have minor bleeding during scaling but with this I felt nothing at all. My tartar and plague were still visible at the gumline. Such a rip off and please don't go here. There are similar reviews about this dental that everyone should take note of. There are better dental clinics and dentists out there so don't waste your money here !!! Would give 0 stars if possible.

Literally standing at the counter for 10 mins while the counter staff Ms Teo was talking on the phone ignoring me. After she hang up the phone she didnt even ask me anything instead i have to make myself known to her and ask if i can register as my appt at 3pm. Really bad customer service.

WORST DENTIST IN SINGAPORE!! If your chair is so precious den don’t be a dentist. U can lay on it yourself!! And stop giving pointless discussion saying you might not be confident to extract the tooth , den don’t be a dentist.. Dear fellows singaporeans please DO NOT VISIT THIS DENTIST!!! Please I beg all of you.. for your own safety please visit other dentists…

Walked out confused as the lady dentist seems not confident of what to do with my aching tooth. Had a pointless discussion that lasted for more than 30 minutes. And the assistant seems like having a lot of problems and just tired from what she's doing. Decided to go back to my previous dentist (more expensive) but I am really happy, treatment took only less than 30 mins. Sorry to have given you this rating?
