I ordered the $5 dry version pork ribs with prawn noodle. The homemade chili mixture is quite good, it goes very well with the noodles and it's spicy too. It comes with 3 small prawns and 3 pork ribs. The prawns are too small in size and the pork ribs aren't de-frozen properly as you can taste the frozen meat odour when you bite the ribs. The big minus point is their prawn soup which had a very bad plasticky , dead prawn taste. Luckily I ordered the dry version. Hopefully, they will improve their quality.

On my first scoop of broth, it had the taste of bad shrimp heads. The chilli sauce mixture and mee poh were good though.

Pork Rib Prawn Kway Teow Mee Soup. It looked really promising when I was served this bowl but it quickly deescalated. At best, it was mediorce perhaps due to the already prepared pork rib and prawns which was only added at the end.

Feb 2019. An average Soupy Prawn noodle if i were to benchmark against Beach Road prawn noodle. I was there at off peak hour, so my judgement was not biased with whether there was a queue or not. The presentation was generous at $5. Two huge fresh prawns with 3 pork ribs and a bit of pork slices and fish cake made up a full bowl. The side soup was flavourfully sweet. The noodle, chilli were clinical. The pork ribs were a bit tough though. I was a bit disappointed when i took a bite at the prawns. They were no doubt fresh, but the uncle didn't make sure there were thoroughly cooked. The lady helper had a bad memory. Despite asking me twice, the order was still wrong.

Saw a lot of people order and tried. True to most comments, the soup taste of bad shrimp heads and not fresh prawns. Morever the 3 prawns are very tiny. The pork ribs are not that bad. Doesn't taste frozen and quite soft. Overall 3/5 stars. Surprising they have a lot of supporters though

Initially wanted to try something else from this coffeeshop but the stall wasn’t open today. Chance upon this stall that serves prawn noodle and decided to give it a try. There was a slight queue when I was there. A basic bowl of traditional prawn noodle starts from SGD$4 onward. I have chosen the yellow noodle and beehoon for my bowl of noodle. The bowl of noodle comes with slices of pork and dell-shelled prawn; the prawns were fresh. The broth wasn’t too my liking. It has an overpowering taste of prawn shell and that’s all. It somehow lacks the body. Could be better if more pork ribs were added.

$4 dried prawn noodles with soup on the side. Serving was generous. Noodles were cooked al dente, served with pork lard and fried shallots. Prawns were medium in size, decently fresh. Had the spicy version, chilli sauce was not too bad, but not particularly aromatic and addictive either. Prawn broth was well-balanced, with shrimp aroma and taste, coupled with hints of white pepper in the background. Overall, decent prawn noodles that is neither badly executed nor outstanding.
