β β β β β The staff there was really patient and the customer service was definitely much better than the other spectacle shops that i went to. Got my brand new spectacles and i am very satisfied. This is definitely the top spectacle shop that i want to recommend.

β β β β β This is the best customer service I have ever experienced in a retail outlet! I called the shop to ask for an exchange of my spectacles frame whose coating has come out after a few months ( It's a Nike frame....but will leave that for another time). The shop at Jem Jurong from which I bought the spectacles has closed down and I was afraid the request would not be answered. However, the customer service rep Kimberley ( I later came to understand she was a relief CSR) not only listened intently to my problem, but also checked my purchase details in the system and called other shops to see if there is an equivalent frame. After finding that there was only 1 similar frame of another colour left, she advised that I can change to different frame of another label ( which I did of course!!), and pay for the difference if it comes at a higher price than the Nike frame and Optical 88 will replace the glasses at no cost if the original glasses do not fit into the new frame.
When told that I work near their Raffles City shop, Kimberley arranged for her colleague Stephanie at the shop to cater to my exchange request . Stephanie eventually managed to fit my original glasses on my new Rayban ( I will give an update on its quality next time) frame. When I left the shop, I was even more surprised to receive a text from Kimberley asking if everything was fine.
Needless to say, I will go back to Optical 88 if I need to get my next pair of glasses. Kimberley and Stephanie have certainly made my day!

β β β β β Expensive services and non-lasting products. Customer service was meh. I had brought my glasses to the Jurong Point branch to get new nose pads as the original ones had fallen off. The guy replaced it. But after a few days, one of the nose pads fell off somewhere. Didn't realised it. Quality of products and services were underwhelming. Which was why they deserved a 1 star. There are better optical stores nearby. Shop at Optical 88 at your own risk.

β β β β β I came on Dec 13th 2021 ard 1230pm & was browsing till Moo Kah Wei came to assist me. I was specific on wanting to purchase a black ladies sunglasses for my mum. Moo Kah Wei was relentless in his search for aiding me to find a pair that i am hankering for & he went all the way to provide me a stellar service.
I was so impress by his calm demeanour & patience that i bought a pair of sunglasses for myself too.
Please note for Jurong Point branch - you have Mr Moo Kah Wei as a gem for this branch. The rest of his colleagues that day - pls take note & emulate from Mr Moo instead.

β β β β β I would like to commend James Wong of Jurong Point Outlet for his excellent customer service and recovery.
In Dec on a Friday evening, I walked into the branch to purchase a pair of sunglasses. James was the one who served me. As I was in a rush, I made a quick purchase and went off. However, over the weekend, I noticed that the lens had some issues and went back the following Mon.
James was quick in assuring me that he will request for a replacement as it was indeed a manufacturer's issue. It was a pleasant surprise when he mentioned that I could continue using the sunglasses while waiting for the replacement.
Within a week or so, James texted me that the replacement was ready for collection. However after using the faulty sunglasses for a week, I decided that the frames were not suitable for me and asked if I could change to another brand instead of going ahead with the replacement.
He readily agreed and went through the selection process with me patiently while asking relevant questions and giving his recommendations.
The new pair of frames selected were of a higher price point and he offered the same promotion as I had with the previous pair. At the same time, he assured me that the previous pair had issues and was glad that I pointed it out to them. He managed to find another pair in the shop which has the same issue and flagged it out to the company. This prevented other customers from buying the faulty sunglasses.
I was very impressed with James' attentiveness to my needs and requirements. He was very fast in service recovery and made my visit to the shop a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
