Really like this hotel - I try and stay here each time I visit Singapore. Great central location, nice rooms, very friendly staff (Anna who cleans the rooms is just lovely to chat to). Buffet breakfast is quite tasty. Very close to great bars for friendly Singaporean hospitality. See you in a few weeks orchard hotel.

Have a night over to catch the next morning. Room is good but have some stains on the carpet beside the desk. Cleanliness of the room was good Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant but left with a bad taste...not the food which was great...but the attitude of the staff...while midway through my dinner, the cashier came with the bills and sort of demanded that that pay the bill because I did not register at the entrance. As we were being seated by the waitress, we gave her my room number, but nevertheless the cashier sounded very rude. Perhaps she requires some re-training on customer service and relation. But I have a good night sleep and recharged fully the next morning.

Price isn't the friendliest, that's OK provided the amenities and quality of service is good. Unfortunately, there is much to be desired regarding the quality of treatment by the staff. Their attitude is poor, unprofessional, you get the feeling of an attempt at chiding of a child asking for another helping, when making simple requests about reclaiming lost items (or other simple things like serviettes or boxes) . Like a simple bookmark that holds little monetary value, they have to confirm whose it could be, doubting it belongs to you. It's a bookmark for goodness sake. It's value in sentimentality outweighing it's $1.20 cost, who's going to come claim this if it isn't theirs? Anyway, the complimentary breakfast buffet is not worth having, both for the time, and space in your stomach, considering what you could otherwise have when visiting the local malls. Complementary does not mean good, it is but a marketing trap, especially considering the exorbitant price of $40+. Most of their food taste and feel like cheap factory frozen products reheated at the back of a cheap Cafe, laid out on decorative plates to increase their photographic appeal. Do not waste your time with these. Perhaps try it once for the first day, and then leave it (except for convenience, there is otherwise little value to stuff yourself full). Do not believe for once that it is worth anywhere near the advertised price. It is done to discourage non-guests from coming in to dine, nothing more. It is after all, complimentary. I've eventually settled on a tiny plate of croissants (factory made, reheated frozen stuff and hence, unsatisfying) and some juice to get some energy in me before heading out for a real breakfast. The swimming pool is dated, and the gym is cramped and small Not recommended if you are considering any of these provisions in your selection of a hotel to stay in. If you're looking for a good overall experience and I would say that your treatment by the staff will play a significant role, I would caution you making a booking here. Remember, your time is valuable and you wouldn't want to feel like you're being treated like a beggar when you're on vacation, especially when there are far better choices out there. Be warned.

Staff were friendly and professional. I will have to say that hotel room was worth the price though, as I went for day use usage. The swimming pool and gym were also available. The hotel is slightly run down, but other than that, I got to say it is worth it. In addition, the staff also assisted to pass a cake and extra dessert for our anniversary, which was a pleasant surprise.

In the heart if Orchard road shopping district and close to Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Friendly staff. Very easy to get a taxi to and from. Comfortable beds. Room amenities could be improved. Empty minibar, but the mini fridge is useful. Overall had a good experience. Would stay again.

Overall, quite a pleasant 3D2N stay. But I hope there can be more changes, in order to maintain their 4 star hotel standards. Firstly, service. The front counter seems to be very short handed. There was an occurrence where we wanted to ask receptionist to answer some of our queries at 11pm. However, there was only one staff at the counter and he was busy speaking to a lady, who seemed to be a guest. So we stood patiently at one of the empty counters for approximately 10 minutes. But it turns out that they were chatting as the lady walked to the other end of the counters and continued talking to the bell boy. The staff attended to us after his conversation ended. However, he seemed slightly annoyed that we ended his conversation. This has made my partner and I slightly uncomfortable after that encounter. When asked about the bar operating hours, he mentioned that the bar was still in a β€œlook-see-look-see” phase where it closes at 11pm rather than the stated closing hour at 1am. But most of the time, we observed that the bartender was not present during our stay, so we ended up not claiming the 2 x complimentary drinks. Also, we wanted to get room service at 11 30 pm and was told to use the QR code to scan to see the menu. When we did, the website was closed from ordering and unable to access the menu. We called off the idea straight. With regards to the room, the kettle provided at the mini bar area trips the sockets and light at the entrance area and mini bar area whenever we are trying to boil some water. We checked in late at around 3/4pm and they allowed us to check out late at 2pm. The express check out is hassle-free too. Hopefully they can improve in the near future.

Nice ambience while at the lobby. Check-In was a breeze. The Family room was good and everything is just right for our family of 2 adults and 3 child. Kids enjoyed their stay. The toiletries was sufficient during our 2 nights stay. But just wondering why check out time is 11am while most other hotels are at 12noon. Had to make the kids shorten their time in the bathtub so that its in time for the check out ?

Loved the room but it was a little bit too small for 4 people. There was something wrong with the drains of the bathroom because something stunk most of the time. Otherwise the service was outstanding. The breakfast was perfect, loved the menu. The staff were super nice and polite. Loved the decor. I would recommend this if you are going alone or with 2 people, can't recommend it for families though.
