Osia Steak and Seafood Grill - #02-140 & 141

I must praise the service crew never fail to provide friendly and warm services. Its set lunch menu was excellent! Fresh, great portioning, great presentation, all tasted marvelous! Must come back again!

The food was not bad. Oysters were fresh, flatbread was good. We were advised to choose the tomahawk from their seasonal special but that was underwhelming. Portion was little and taste was bland. We added the ribeye which tasted way way better. They had a strict timing for dining and needed us to vacate at a specific time, so my dessert was served alongside my mains. Stressful eating here. Overall I think the staff did an awesome job to make it feel better. Just the rules of the place that i didn't quite like or enjoy. ------ Follow-up to reply from the restaurant: We were a party of 6 adults, 3 kids for dinner, not lunch. And 2 adults do not take beef, so leaving just 4 adults to share the tomahawk. Well, we have taken tomahawk elsewhere and just giving feedback that it is smaller in comparison to some other places we have been to. Anyway, we were happy to order the ribeye because it tasted better. We completed our dinner quite promptly at 8pm because everything was served very quickly by the restaurant which we appreciated. Probably the restaurant got mixed up with another group of diners who were not too happy with their dining experience.

Nice setting and ambience. Food is nice but not unforgettable. The set lunch meal variety is OK - bit pricy for the portion and quality. The gratin potato is really good - must try. So good that it's the only one I forgot to take a photo... ?

The service was ok. We were served by a friendly waiter. The food looks nice but it’s nothing to call home for. Presentation is nice, but the food is not salted and they managed to overcook the steak and the lobster. When I explicitly asked for medium. Also undercooked the veggies, I mean they stand up on their own.. I really looked forward to trying out this restaurant. I was very disappointed with the food, also considering this being a high end restaurant. I expected more. I’m not returning.

Overall a very average dining experience. We tried the set lunch menu offered which included a total of three courses, appetizer (salad or scallops), main (salmon or beef or pork) and dessert (cheese board or pavlova). Tastewise, everything was fine, but definitely not hitting expectations for me. Service is great though!

Extremely good service. Made a last min reservation as we were in Sentosa. They greeted us by name and ushered us to our tables. Food could have been a little better. The streak was well prepared but the cut was slightly lacking. Cheese platter was quite lack luster in the presentation. Expected a little more in the food presentation given the price point. Overall a fuss free place to dine at.

We had Christmas dinner here. The seafood was pretty good but the steak was entirely disappointing. Service was mostly good to great except for a little back and forth at the beginning that I still can't wrap my head around. Refusing an easy request out of pedantry isn't the best way to start someone's meal. We spent about $400 between the two of us and unfortunately do not think we will return. Granted, we had our Christmas Eve dinner at table 65 and that's a tough act to follow. Still, it's also true that the food quality and entire experience at Osia were underwhelming for that price. Edit: reply to business owner's question: Hi, Lauri. It was a very small thing. My wife asked to be seated at the table next to the one we'd been shown to. She was refused on the basis that the table was reserved. I asked if the guests had specifically requested that table and the answer was more or less "no, but you're late so we won't change your table". We definitely were late and that's our fault, but was there a need to attempt to show your displeasure in this way? After a couple more exchanges your floor manager (?) relented and was very nice and professional the rest of the night. It's just that the initial impression was not great and this unusual situation has stuck with us as a cute anecdote. (Probably not the sort of anecdote you want told about your restaurant though....)

We had valentine dinner here and everything was fine. The portion of the main is huge as you can see from the picture (the whole fish + the beef steak). Good thing for big eater. The beef steak however is disappointing because of the hard to chew texture. Overall a pleasant experience except for the super full tummy and hard to chew steak.
