Found this gem while searching online for spectacle shops which offer same-day collection ? Really glad that I gave this shop a try because not only were the products value for money & of good quality, the service was ? & of high standard! Indecisive me took really really long to decide which frame to get, but Tim was really patient & easy-going ? And unlike my ultra-slow decision-making, he was really efficient yet thorough in the eye test & spectacle preparation ? Tim was also very informative & there was no hard selling - making it a truly pleasant experience ?? On top of being impressed with the affordable, quality products & efficient, exceptional service - I was truly amazed that we can choose the kind of spectacle case we want, as well as the colour of spectacle cloth ? At the end of the day, I decided to purchase two - as seen in the photos, rose gold Nevis (three sides at the top & round curve below) & silver blue Normanby (heptagonal shape)! And out of the many case designs and cloth colours, I chose the beige-pink cloth & grey hard case, as well as the lilac-blue cloth & brown foldable velvet case to match with my respective spectacles~ It was truly a spectacular steal, and the moment I left the shop, I started sharing about this shop with my family & friends ? I will definitely return to this shop when the need arises, and will highly recommend this hidden gem too ✨

I purchased a pair of spectacles from Tim at his old store and recently purchased a new pair of lenses from Tim at his current store. He clearly knows his stuff and it shows in his recommendations and the way he goes about his work. The prices are transparent and there is no upselling - would wholeheartedly recommend.

Otago has quite a variety of frames and I got myself a pair of glasses that is very unique (dual coloured in purple and pink). Honestly, I think the price is really affordable in the market given that it comes with frame and UV protective lenses! The owner taught us that in recent studies, violet blue light (closer to UV) can be harmful to your eyes in the long term while blue light does not actually harm your eyes. My mind was blown was they did the light test to show that the lenses can protect your eyes. I think the whole experience was great and very informative. Typically, you just get glasses done by choosing a design you like at other optical shops and that is the end of it. But here, I feel like I am a well informed customer and I really like that! My specs were made perfectly such that it doesn't feel uncomfortable or dizzy even when I changed to wear them immediately. Just wanna say he's professional, passionate and legit, he really knows his stuff. Definitely recommend (getting a few of my friends to go too) and definitely coming back!
