I have heard good reviews on the optician so we decided to drop by. But what we didn't take note of is the terribly poor customer service. Just worst experience ever!!

Flawless service, they go above and beyond to help you out e.g. helped me to get contact lense discount from acuvue app, cleaned my glasses without me having to ask, checked my prescription and gave me 2 pairs of daily lenses to tide me over until my order arrived, all for free. So easy to use them, highly recommend.

Been attended to by Collin for years. Not only is he an expert optician, he is also friendly and very patient. Never have I undergone such a meticulous eye exam before meeting him, he really spends the effort and time to ensure the most accurate possible prescription for your glasses. He will also treat your glasses as if it is for himself, proactively making sure it fits perfectly on your face, tightened and cleaned. Thereafter if the fit becomes uncomfortable after you left the store, he will welcome you with a smile when you return for adjustment. Prices of the frames in store are on the high side but I am allowed to bring my own and purchase the lenses from him. Expert prescription with top-notch customer service, could not ask for more. After being in Singapore a couple years, I was finally in need of another pair of glasses and an eye exam. The Eye Place turned out to be a stylish local shop with some great customer service. The shop offers a huge selection of glasses and let me take my time going through all the frames I liked. The frames in general were a little higher on the price side, but they are good quality brands. I ended up going with a pair that they suggested, and now that I'm a couple weeks in using them I'm very happy with the choice. I was most impressed with the eye exam service. The optometrist not only did a really thorough job, but she helped me understand what astigmatism is and how mine has been changing. She gave thoughtful answers to all my questions. It's great to support a local small businesses, and I see myself going back to the eye place in the future.
