Our Art Studio - Paya Lebar Quarter

We signed up our son with the OAS way back in 2018 when they were located at Katong Shopping Centre, and now at PLQ mall. Art teacher Xenia and owner Jasmine felt he had aptitude and potential to further his talent and skills. Over the years, Xenia has nurtured our son’s talent systematically and creatively without stressing him out. She has, through her own inimitable style, given him joy to pursue and sharpen his aptitude in art. The other art teachers are equally interactive and have patience with kids, which is a must in my opinion ? Jasmine, the owner, has also been a source of encouragement. She has fostered an art studio for kids and adults alike that creates a warm and inspiring atmosphere...she has a friendly disposition and is good with the kids and parents. And she makes/takes time to answer your questions or concerns should you have them, be it in person or via messaging platforms. We’ve stayed on with OAS since 2018 because we’ve never felt pressured to buy art products or packages unlike in other centres. We have recommended other parents to enrol their kids if they have an inclination or simply want to try their holiday programmes and enjoy themselves. ?

Had an art session with a friend there, it was fun! I like it that we can choose any art medium we like and the instructor can guide us accordingly. Tried water colour painting today and thanks to instructor's guidance, artwork turns out better than expected. An therapeutic experience doing art, will try other art medium next time :)

It was a wonderful experience over at Our Art Studio. Never though I can produced a good work too as an adult learner. I am so proud of my work! The teachers were patience and guided us skillfully on how we can do it, and give us tips on things like the gradient and how we can mix the colour to get the right shade for our work, while allowing us the freedom of letting our creativity flow thru. Thank you so much for sharing your invaluable knowledge with us!

My children's artwork never failed to amaze me whenever I picked them up after classes. Glad to have found a place where they can discover their talents, learn to express their thoughts through art and build self confidence. The flexibility and variety of classes are definitely the plus points otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit in their classes so conveniently. Kudos to the OAS staff and teachers.

I was so impressed because this shop owner response to the WhatsApp message so quick and was being very helpful to consult the best tools for me. I chat with them at late night and order in the early morning, next day I received the goods already (even during Co-vid 19 time). The colors are so nice and brushes are also very good, not to mention very good quality canvas. Definitely will buy more and more. Thank you so much!

Went to OAS with a group of friends. It was my first experience and had so much fun drawing. I enjoyed the fact we had guidance for amateur like myself. 2 hours passed so quickly!

First time doing art jamming. Bad experience. Given a desk and chair with dried paint. I know art jamming is to expected to messy but at least provide a clean environment or plastic sheet cover for new customers. Apron is what you see - with dried paint stains. Paint brushes are worn out. Paint is either dried up or too watery (probably previous customers added water?) No covid safety measures. Paint brushes, paint & stationery are shared by multiple people at once. Gave 2 stars because the staff used wet wipes to wipe down the chair, upon my request. And the wet wipes turned black. Not sure how often it is cleaned. Did not see any staff disinfecting the station after customers left. Recommend the owner to get some Dynamo, Magic clean, Dettol disinfectant & Zippo. All of which were missing at this studio.

Both my children attended the art class and have wonderful memories there. The place is accessible and convenient. Teachers are experienced in handling young children. My children are very happy with their art experience.
