★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The male doctor has no passion, no care, no heart in treating patient. He is rude, cruel and noot fit to be a doctor. I would not hesitate to give him a negative star

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to the clinic with my son who tested Ag+ on 21/3 and it was a smooth process. However, another son of mine came down with mild fever, has cough and runny nose, and we decided to visit the clinic on 22/3. I had registered via the Declaration form using the QR code given. NRIC, BC numbers were all keyed in. And the staff could see all these from the computer.
Same steps as done the day before. Went in after a while and kindly asked the middle aged bespectacled lady if our names have been registered.
Her tone was really unacceptable and her reply with her eyes rolling; Oh, you did not register. But it’s just a health declaration.
I’m shocked as we did the same process the day before.
As it was our usual family doctor, I wrote my son’s BC number and handed it to her. She demanded to see a physical copy of my son’s BC instead.
Her approach towards patients is definitely something a healthcare worker should not even possess. She was just being rude when I said I just came the day before without a BC for my son.
I had to rush back home to get the BC. Upon arriving back to the clinic, she decided to give me a long lecture of how she’s not a regular staff and would require a physical BC for verification. And she went on stating that I would also need the same thing if I were to go to a hospital.
I had no words to reply to her as it was pointless to argue.
There are many ways to show evidence and proof of my son being my son without a physical NRIC/BC. If only she had just requested nicely to show via my Singpass or HealthHub app, I wouldn’t have to go to this extend to give this review
Right now, we are still waiting to see the doctor. ??♀️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE WORST CLINIC I’VE EVER BEEN.
I should have seen Google reviews before I went.
The Redwood (200m away) clinic was closed that’s why I went to this place with no choice.
Dr.Kao was there, I had a headache and I experience this every 2-3 months due to lack of sleep, work stress. After some good rest I know this headache will be gone. Today was a day I couldn’t bear anymore so I wanted to take MC and rest. He asked me about the symptoms and I exactly said what I mentioned above. He said you do have off days r—ight? Doesn’t it get better in the weekends? I really don’t understand why he is being so inquisitive and asking smth like you can rest and get well back in the weekends why is it today? Then finally he said “IT IS NOT LOGICAL”. Excuse me? How can he say it’s not logical to a patient?
Now I got a real serious headache after visiting a doctor.
And this useless consultation (arguing) >3 minutes consultation + 2 pills costed $58. I have a strong feeling that he just wanted to charge many medicines as possible.
The doctor should learn how to communicate with patients and to respect others if he wants to get respect from patients as well.
Normally I wouldn’t leave any bad reviews, I’d rather just skip to save my time but this is really the poorest clinic I’ve ever visited so I hope my review will help others to not experience the same nightmare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ went for a VTL swab test as it was near my house. appointment at 2pm but had to wait for 45 minutes before I was tested. The doctor just shaft the testing kit into my nostrils with brute force, and was told to sit down and wait for results but was not even informed out of results as I sitting there. As I was attending my emails for something else while waiting, I saw the test results uploaded. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Kao as a professional is okie, but it’s his new additional to the team that we are not okie with.
Recently, DS caught COVID and we took him there for a consultation. When we queried on the wait time as we wanted to avoid unnecessary exposure to the general public, the receptionist (bespectacled lady who is slightly more on the fleshy side) remarked, “everyone outside all the same, just wait.” This attitude leaves much to be desired, esp someone from the healthcare.
Why wouldn’t we wait? Her assumption is we don’t want to wait and just want to get to the doctor, thus the senseless remark?
If patients start going elsewhere (ie Redwood, Dr Leong, etc) to have treatment, it’s the front desk personnel that has played a crucial part to turning patients away, not Dr Kao imho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t think they even deserve 1 star but I have to leave this. The same bespectacled lady that appeared multiple times in other reviews was extremely rude throughout the entire visit, and made me wait outside for 30mins although I was the only one at the clinic before the rest of the patients showed up. When I checked in at the 20th min mark, she said I can only see the doctor after this next patient, although I’m already a high risk patient given that I’m pregnant and have tested positive.
Dr Kao was no better. He was dismissive when I shared my frustrations about the long wait and exposure risk, and said ‘maybe you shouldn’t use a tele medical app, unfortunately we are not a covid test centre only’. He even asked if I wanted to do it as ‘you can go elsewhere if you don’t want to’, despite me waiting outside for the past 30mins.
Overall just don’t go there. It makes your blood boil, and you wonder why you should deal with such incompetency when you’re already sick to the bone. Plus, what a make shift test centre, with clothes pegs and exposure to the public anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my son to the clinic and explained to the bespectacled, middle aged lady receptionist that my son is COVID positive and the reason we were there is to have a test done by doctor so that MOH will have record. This can facilitate future recovery memo in case we need one.
Her tone was so impatient and told me “Doctor is to see patients, not issuing recovery memo” (her exact words). Kept wanting us to go home and perform ART ourselves and I questioned her how would MOH know about it then.
I registered but in the end decided to give up after reading the Google reviews. If the staff’s ridiculous behaviour can be tolerated by the doctor, I do not have much confidence in him/her.
For those contemplating to visit this clinic, please please just cross the road and visit Redwood Clinic instead (less than 200 metres walk). You are already not feeling well, save yourself the hassle of being treated rudely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glad that this clinic is open on Sunday. The experience was smooth. Although the waiting time was long, it seemed systematic. Stayed nearby so the receptionist could give me a call when it was a few more patients to my turn.
Most of us had to sit outside but it was ok, i was distant from other patients in ventilated area and this is preferable than sitting side by side indoors with other who are ill.
The consultation was fuss free. After receiving medicine, payment, there was also an option for cashless payment by QR code.
Waiting time was long. But so are the queues at other clinics in the area (2 hours expected).
