Parkway Mini Steamboat - 311 Tanjong Katong Rd

Used to be my go-to steamboat place since young. Their must order soup base is Tom-yam for sure! Food is still as fresh however what caught us in surprise is the price have rose by at least 20% since last year. ?

A cozy and lively restaurant with decent ingredients at affordable prices. The chicken soup base and Tom yum soup base are good, though you should add vegetable to sweeten it. The fish glue is very good.They Chili sauce is great as well.

Steamboat is also know as hotpot or soup food which originates from China. Which is prepared with a simmering pot of soup by adding variety of food. Parkway Mini steam boat located at Katong is one of the most talked restaurant. The staff and food is really very nice. Staff was really friendly in explaining us how to order by scanning the QR code. Service was really quick. This was the first time I have tried steam boat along with my friends. We had ordered a four section container for soup bases. There were 3 soup base option Mala, Tom yum and mushroom. We had order for Tom yum and Mala as soup base. Mala is my personal favorite. It’s an all-you-can-eat concept here so select what you like, from pork balls to dumplings. There’s also plenty of vegetarian selections options as well. We had order both vegetarian and non vegetarian options as my husband and I are vegetarian and our friends ate non vegetarian options. Being vegetarian We never thought we could eat steam boat. This was a wonderful experience and would definitely visit again and recommend it to others as well. Knoe Steamboat is my person favorite food to go. It's a great success for me ???

Love the tom yum soup base and the chilli sauce. Located in 2 shop houses combined in Tanjong Katong. The location is good as there are parking alone the street or behind the shop house entrance near The Caltex Petrol Kiosk. They serve both steamboat and cook food like Fried chicken wings, chilli crab etc. I would recommend the fish maw, dumplings, tang hoon and slice meat. All these in the spicy tomyum soup and then add the chilli sauce dipping gives you the hot and spicy feeling. This is especially good if the weather is cold. Not expensive, pretty affordable and top up of soup is always available. The waiter and waitress are very quick in serving all customers. Air conditioned environment and plenty of seats. Do make a booking of you plan to go there over weekend.

Fully enjoyed the experience. Comfortable and clean place with good aircon. All the tables use induction type plate which I felt reduces heat to the surrounding. Did not feel hot and sweaty. Has a good range of items on the menu. Staff was polite and friendly. Toilet was clean and odourless. Free wifi.

Haven’t had such a fantastic steamboat meal in a while! Every ingredient is so fresh, that I finished everything even though I was so full already haha. Their soup bases are so tasty without using any MSG! Especially the tom yum base that is full of kick without being overly sourish or spicy. I especially enjoy their handmade balls, noodle and paste (手工肉丸/面条/胶)! So rich in flavour and have a QQ texture that factory-made ones can never replicate. Spicy food lovers will also enjoy the different chilli sauces that they offer - special chilli sauce, garlic chilli and belachan chilli. Customers love their chilli sauces so much that they are sold in bottles! Their soup bases can also be purchased during CNY period only. They are usually packed in the evenings and weekends so do make a reservation before heading down! I have been here twice with my family and both times I have enjoyed my meal and finished everything on the plate. First of all, bring some cash, like alot of cash, then come here, order your food, and enjoy. The environment is also good too with air conditioning and friendly staff. So if you want to eat out with your friends, put this on your list of places to go.
