★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was just there for the art market event hosted by The Local People x Singapore Land Authority. I happened to be one of the vendors (@angelinesahu). I looooveeee the venue - it's beautiful and reminds me of the Tate. I also met some former Sungei Road flea market hawkers, where I bought the vintage rattan bag for $10. It's only a 1-day event, but I hope there'll be more events like this in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible went enthusiastically to enjoy Rang quartlet..site says 6pm...in fact concert starts 7pm...worse gate entrance was locked up with no personnel to inform what happens to arrivals before 6pm...arent we supposed to be on time...historical venue but concert organisers badly managed for patrons...unpleasant n definitely unwelcomed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doing an event here for the first time. Place looks really creepy even in daytime but there's many places with very good lighting for a good photo. The only disadvantage here is there's no water and power here, ironically since it's an old power station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the idea of simultaneously preserving shreds of our historic heritage, and blending it with the arts scene. Attended a Budak Pantai concert here, acoustics and ambience were wonderful.

Glad we got a seat nearer the stage, where we had better cool air vents. (Not Aircon) Heard the rows at the back suffered a stuffiness.
We drove n this event had a valet parking service pre-arranged. Otherwise we won’t know where to park.
Also, Note that the walk in from the main road is not a short one.
