Lovely tarts and pastries! Favourite would be their passionfruit sesame!

I loves their Croissant to the max! And my hubby loves their cakes and tarts. Worth sacrificing my waistline ?

Having tried their signature orh blanc tart and a seasonal fig entremet, there is an inability to understand why this place is so popular. The tart was truly of a pure yam flavour, which on its own does not yield much beyond the natural floral yam aroma. Given that the tart promises to be a rendition of the tradition orh nee, a teochew would be offended. None of the fragrance of orh nee is found. Certainly it is nice to look at, but no proof in this pudding. The tart is also just the yam puree and the tart base, also forgettable, lacking dimension. The Violette is cassis and fig, while the cassis is tart with a crackling shell, it is just a bit of fun. The fresh fig in the middle cannot compete with the strong tart flavour of the berry that has been sweetened rather heavily. It did not impress. Not something to go out of your way to try.

Small shop tucked out of the way off the main street with terrific tarts in several flavors. Recommend the popular Orh Blanc which has rich white cream under the the gray top layer. A newer flavor is tropical, which has a unique spherical design of firm cream with tropical fruit pieces inside with a cookie crust and a piece of mango on top. Long black was good but a bit too darkly roasted. 4 small 2-seat tables on the inside. Helpful staff.

Had an orh blanc tart and pain au chocolat with a flat white and long black. Tot OBT is slightly on the bland side and PAC can be more buttery. FW and LB is ok.

I don’t know why it so high score. The tart tastes very normal. It indeed has a lot of combination for one tart, but didn’t mix well. Good at taking photo. The tart also not sweet. The price is at higher side, about $8 per tart.

Bought for friends and home.. a hidden away cafe in the mids of busy paya lebar area. Very simplistic cafe that has a good range of pastries, desserts and beverages. The tarts and cakes tasted really good. Most of us actually commented the matcha with the puff rice is the best.

Heard a few friends say their pastries are excellent. Even though we go Paya Lebar often we have never tried it. So finally decided to try. I drove there and nearly missed the entrance to the place. It’s just beside the old Paya Lebar fire station. It’s very quiet and they do not have many pastries left on a weekday afternoon. Bought 4 (3 are the most popular items) to try and I have to say all their items are indeed excellent. Interestingly we preferred their chocolate banana which isn’t one of the 3 most popular items. Will go back!
