Visited this outlet on 2 April 2022.around 6pm. Asked a simple question to one of the staff (mainland Chinese lady) on flavours of the bun. Was answered back rudely “ can’t you see?” There is a label there! When we asked why she needed to be so rude? She starting yelling and took out her mobile to video us citing us being unreasonable! When we asked the counter staff for the contact of their supervisor or management to file a complain. The counter staff conveniently handed us the shop number trying to brush us off. Unscrupulous liars!

Echoing what the others said before. Service staff's attitude is terrible. Doesn't matter to me that she's not local, terrible service is terrible service. Went to buy bread and the one I wanted was not displayed yet, asked for her help and she was so impatient and curt with me. I get that the bread is just $1+, I am not expecting 5service but some basic manners at least? Will not repurchase if I can help it, why spoil my own mood first the morning. Moreover, there is another bakery upstairs now.

Very bad experience with rude mainland staff. Not once, but twice. Never buying again. Insisted on me standing in front of her, when I was just to her right. Gave an attitude when I didn’t put my buys on top of their bakery which was fully laid on the table. There’s no space at all. Hope this bakery will be replaced by a better one soon!

Here for the black sesame bun, heard raves about it. Thin bread with thick filling. However the slightly savoury black sesame paste contains red bean paste and it’s a little too sweet for me. Disappointed that there’s no nutty sesame fragrance to it, personally still prefers strong nutty sesame kind of paste.

Love the spider pun and got them discounts $3 for 2 so its super worth it. Pls bring along your CASH since they do not accept card. The cashier was nice by helped me to keep my breads aside, waited for me to go redraw $ and come back. Thumbs up ? my whole family love the breads too. Will definitely come back for more :)

The cake is not-too-sweet, and has a traditional cake texture to it. The cream has a subtle coffee aroma and the cream is covered only on the outside of the cake. Could not comment much on the service as there was not much interaction. Overall, the cake has a decent taste and the service was smooth.

The Bread Club. Located on Basement B2-13, at PLQ Mall. Affordable and wide variety of breads and pastries. Encountered a similar experience of poor customer service. Staff is unable to converse in English and speak Mandarin. The Bread is fluffy, but lack quantity of fillings.
