Being first time dog owners , the help we received was very valuable. We came out of the puppy training program with useful positive reinforcement techniques and a better understanding of our pup. Not only did he do a complimentary video consult, he gave great tips that worked. We then followed up with private basic obedience class with him and Veronica. They broke down the basic commands into easy to follow steps, and helped us developed better understanding of our puppy. They were patient and kind, and taught without judgement. The whole process was a game changer for my husband who had not had a dog before. We highly recommend Pawsitive Furkids.

Our dog, Benji enjoyed his class every week and we too had fun learning how to guide Benji thru the tricks and exercises. Both Patrick & Veronica were very good trainers who were very knowledgeable and helpful. Benji managed to get a total of 4 certificates thanks to their encouragement and guidance. From them, I learned to be more patient and applied positive reinforcement in training my pup at home. The key is to include it in my daily routine. As I am a first time owner, I did not know how I could train my puppy but ever since training started at Pawsitive Furkids, I have learnt a lot and I now know how to better train and take care of my dog. The various exercises taught were very helpful and useful. Patrick and Veronica were both very patient with us and did not mind when we had to take a little more time doing the exercises. They were so friendly too that my dog goes over the top whenever she sees them. I would like to thank them for their guidance throughout the training and wish them all the best ahead of their journey! Overall, my dog and I both enjoyed having Patrick and Veronica as our trainers because of their excellent qualities and their huge sense of responsibility. I would recommend them to other pawrents without a doubt!

Adopting a senior can be a challenge, as they can be pretty stubborn at times. We signed our 4-month old puppy up for their Puppy Kindergarten class and we learned so much about positive training methods through the 6 classes. We also reached out to them a few times outside of the classroom when our puppy was misbehaving at home and they were so patient and generous with their advice. Through our time with them, our puppy has grown from a rambunctious puppy to a (still energetic) puppy that is able to listen well to commands. We even managed to apply the training techniques we learnt to teach our puppy a few tricks! We would highly recommend Pawsitive Furkids to anyone. Thank you for all your help!

They made training sessions fun for my puppy and I. After every training session, Pawsitive Furkids will also send a lesson summary document over to make sure that I don’t forget what was taught. They also encouraged me to send videos of my puppy if I have any questions regarding its behaviour. My family, puppy and I were also invited to a gathering with other students outside of lessons for a walk. My puppy enjoyed it a lot! My puppy now has graduated from puppy class and Pawsitive Furkids still encourages me to send over videos of him. Thank you so much for the valuable and fun training sessions.
