Everything good!!! Wanton soup, dumpling soup, Wanton noodles... the broth is clean and delicious, lots of wantons in the soup, good and firm noodles, delicious char siew meat. That’s one of the best stalls at Interim Hawker Centre.

Lip smacking good wanton mee in the heart of Singapore’s CBD. Insanely huge portion for only S$4.50. Love the springy wonton noodles. The soup wanton’s pork filling was marinated well. Almost 10 slices of char siew in the bowl with a good mix of lean meat and fat. Recommended. There’s a very long queue during lunch hour but the queue moves pretty fast. If not, come during off peak hours like 2pm and there won’t be any queue.

One of the places we like is the Char Siew Wanton Mee (from $3.50) Tiong Bahru Wanton Mee. Meticulously prepare one bowl at a time, you’ll get these springy noodle coated in gooey savoury sauce and topped with thick chunks of charred char siew

Generous portion of noodles & char siew for $4.50 a bowl. Springy noodles that I have no complain about, not over cooked. Char Siew is more inclined to the sweeter side, but really soft. It’s pretty alright if there’s no queue and you’re up for a bowl of wanton noodles.

First time trying this stall. Stall owners are friendly. Overall noodles is too much black sauce making it wet and sweet. Not much of the traditional wanton noodle taste. The deep fried and boiled dumplings quite decently ok. Not my preference.

Love the super Q noodles and premium char siew. Decent wanton both in soup and fried light & crispy. Chicken feet was awesome. Sauce was a bit too salty for me so I had to dilute with soup. Otherwise quite shiok.

Quite a decent bowl of wonton mee for $4.50. The noodles were QQ, and the deepfried and boiled wontons were well filled and tasty. There was also quite a lot of char siu though they were on the sweet side. The ladies are friendly and can chat in Teochew if you speak the lingo. They also accept CDC vouchers.

Happened to be around the area and decided to give it a try in this revamped HC. Walk around and go for wanton noodle finally. Textured of noodles was good, sauces also good as I prefer black sauces with chillis. Char SIew & Dumpling (both fried and boiled) were decent. Soup is too sweet for me. Portion is generous. $4.50 at this HC is definitely affordable. Reason for 3 stars due to the fact that they could improve their Char SIew and soup could be more savoury.
