Phoon Huat must be the premier place to go for baking supplies in Singapore with a broad range of flours, accessories, natural foods, related appliances like bread mixers, they literally have everything you could need and very popular! Always good

β β β β β If I could spend a day in any store, I'd pick this one. It's twice as large as the one in Telok Blangah and includes a whole range of Japanese ingredients. The whole store is clearly labeled and well organized, and it's right by the Star Vista BV MRT exit.

β β β β β Located right at the 2md floor of Buona Vista MRT, I love the big store here and the variety of items sold here. I usually park at Star Vista and visited the smaller Redman Store first. If not available, I will go here and surely can find more items and stock. Highly recommended! Take note, bring own trolley if you are buying a lot. Also own plastic bag/carrier since now they do not give plastic for free anymore.

β β β β β Damn good sashimi rice (Chirashi Don ~$16). The quality of the fish far outweighs the kaisendon chains you get at shopping centers. And they use real wasabi too!
Iβd recommend topping up to get the ikura (generous portion at less than $4) and around $7 for a scallop (sliced into 4 layers).
Edit: went back the next day to get the exact same, and added the Uni :) which is really good, and really rare because almost all the uni I tried in Singapore canβt make it.

β β β β β Very well stocked supermarket cum baking supplies place. (on a side note, if you like drinking bubble tea, you can consider buying their pearls here)
I came here specifically to obtain supplies for making tiramitsu (used to go to carrefour for this but since they closed in other places don't stock the ingredients - mascarpone cheese and lady fingers)
Do come on Sundays and Wednesdays as you can get a 10 percent off prices.

β β β β β Good place to buy baking stuff. You will get almost everything here. Limited gluten free items. It's a bigger shop with a lot of more variety compared to phoon huat at star vista.
Overall a good experience.

β β β β β This may be one of the biggest Phoon Huat shop in the western part of Singapore. Come here for your baking needs, all under 1 roof. Wide aisle makes it easier to browse and look for that elusive ingredient/baking accessory!
My go-to place for French butter, bread flour from Vietnam, instant yeast, walnuts, raisins and wholemeal flour!
Always bring your own cooler bag or shopping bag and do our part for Earth.
