Authentic Hakka food with generous serving and warm hospitality. Their food are homemade dishes that will warm the cockles of your heart. The boss treats customers like friends and ensures that they are well taken care of. Would recommend making reservations on weekend as they would be packed.

One of the oldest hakka restaurant in Singapore. Bamboo windows, hazardous power sockets with too many plug-ins, round table with my grandmother's tablecloth, newspaper cutout on a piece of cupboard for a menu, and 1970s kampung photos made up the interior. Food looked homecooked, but the flavours are just....wow. Saucy salted chicken that fall off the bones paired with scallion oil dip, an unseemingly normal tofu with meat that exploded with umani, and a wok-hei fried-egg noodles are just some of the highlights. Love the vibes, would love to see this place stay like this. Edit: Sitting by the windows, i saw the waiter rushing out with a bag of food towards a waiting car with windows rolled down. So they still do food pickup like the old days! Just so much memories!

When I made a few sporadic visits for takeaway last year, the food standard for their regular dishes kind of dropped. During the Chinese New Year period the ๆข…่œๆ‰ฃ่‚‰ was bland. However, last month's takeaway of their set menu was the best. All the dishes still taste good although it's a takeaway. The portions are big. Well worth the $48. My family polished off the food that night. But I have not tried their delivery service though.

Was disappointed with their menu selection. Imagine the four of us had to order every single dish on the menu to have enough to eat! So sad that COVID had hit this restaurant so badly that they had to diminish their menu to so small.

We walked-in without reservation on vesak day evening at 5.30pm. We are a family of 4. We are lucky to be able to have a table as the restaurant is fully booked. We were told that we can only have the table till 6.30pm as they have reservations. We are fine with it. We ordered the 4 person set which is a very big portion. Ordered additional 2 white rice to eat with the ๆข…่œๆ‰ฃ่‚‰. Best decision. Guess which dish got wipe out by us first ?. Within 5 mins after ordering , the dishes are served. Wow. Impressive. As a hakka, the dishes fits our profile, salty enough...Will bring my parents here next time.

Authentic hakka dishes. ๆข…่œๆ‰ฃ่‚‰????taste and meat is just nice. Chili paste is superb ???? tea is $1 per pax. Deducted 1 โญ๏ธbecause the soup base of yong tofu is a bit salty. Overall ????????

Authentic Hakka restaurant tucked within Sembawang Hills, been here for more than 30 years. Upon entering you will be greeted by a cozy vibe with traditional red lanterns and maps. Ordered 4 pax meal for $52 that includes all their signature dishes. Tea is charged for $1 each, refillable. Hakka Noodles and Mei Cai Kou Rou on the drier side but it was still as tasty. Spring onion beef tripe is an additional order and it was chewy with light hint of spring onions that isn't overpowering.

Heard of this shop from reviews by some friends and decided to check it out. First feel is that the shop is really old school and authentic. We chose the 4 pax package. The hakka noodles and suan pan zi felt like it was pre cooked, instead of cooked fresh. The taste of the hakka noodles were abit disappointing in the sense that it was to the blender side. However, this might be because the other dishes are saltier and the noodles might be meant to be eaten with the other dishes. The yong tau foo is really nth to shout out about. Average at best. The ๆข…่œๆ‰ฃ่‚‰ was towards the saltier side, but I really like the flavor. I would have given a higher rating if the pork was more tender. But some people like it that way. The chicken was nicely done. Their chillis are a must try for those who are in for a kick and it really blends well with all the dishes. Staff was courteous, efficient, and nice. One thing I really liked was that this restaurant serves Chinese tea or warm water foc. Which is so hard to find nowadays and something I really appreciate. Overall, price was very decent and it is a nice establishment to support and visit. All da best to their business.
