A wonderful dining experience with great ambience. And the food is incredible; my husband and I rate this as one of the best South Indian in Singapore. Kalai made delicious recommendations with matching drinks. Highly recommend this gem for all. We will definitely be back with more friends.

Very good place for South Indian Menu. Understand that it has been selected as Travellers Choice of the year 2021 by TRIP-ADVISOR. Cost is on the higher side. Courteousness and the politeness of the staff are highly appreciable. Ambiance is pleasant.

We came here for dinner last night with some friends. What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere inside is warm and relaxed. The food is South Indian vegetarian but with fusion twists here and there. The menu has an interesting range of dishes and there are also weekly specials, both for the food and the drinks. For those so inclined, they do amazing cocktails. There is a tremendous amount of thought that goes into each of the dishes to get the right harmony of flavors and textures, and it really pays off. Everything from start to finish was just delicious and the service was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and can’t wait to go back. I hesitate to recommend any particular dishes because everything really was so good, but we did very much like the texture and spiciness of the paneer, and the biryani was really exceptional. I’m tempted to say it’s the best one we’ve ever had. Please do make a reservation if you wish to go and note that there are two seatings for dinner. Highly recommended.

Love this place, love their foods. Amazed and impressed by the attentiveness of the staffs and how well they know the food in details. It’s have been an educational lunch for me too. Foods are prepared with no processed ingredients. Home cook taste and dishes are what the founder wish to dish out to her customers. Love their vada, super nice. Unique dishes like the banana stems, welcome drink (ginger and lemon), raw mango juice (green unripe mango) are so good. Highly recommended.

The best authentic Indian food. The food makes you feel like you are eating at home. Very well balanced taste. The ambience is top notch. Ask for Kalai, He is just amazing. Just ask him what you should eat. He will guide through the menu. We had an amazing experience and amazing dinner.

Awesome attention to details from the time we arrived till we left. It is hard to get good service in Singapore. Presentation wise, I have never seen anywhere in Singapore done by South Indian restaurants. Common to see that in Northern Indian restaurants. Well done, and please keep it up. Moreover, the story lines by each dashes served by the staff are great. There is so much nourishment in each dish.

First time at Podi and Poriyal. We were recommended to try the set lunch. Service was good. Very attentive and always share some trivia about their food. Good recommendation for beginner like us. Every single item boasts a new taste for us. Tangy, refreshing, addictive! Will definitely go back to try out what’s dinner serving like. Reservation prior going down is a must!
