★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mistakenly took a single file that someone left out and when I went to pay for it the cashier didn't even mention it was supposed to be a pack and I paid $7+ for a single file. Horrible. If I didn't double check the receipt and asked another staff. I would be scammed. Did the staff purposely do this just to increase daily sale?
P. S the cashier was an older lady with long hair and was working at the counter closest to the exit/shelf full of snacks. And it was around 8:45 pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 09 April 2022: somehow the place seems more messy than before. I saw some bottles of condiments at the cashier counter. No longer just a simple bookstore.
I like the variety in the bookshop now, but it's a little too diverse now that they're even selling pots and pans.

Conveniently located at neighbourhood heartland of Northpoint City walking distance covered pathway to Yishun MRT bus interchange Yishun Town Gardens with breezy greenery away from busy cityscapes Yishun Town Square Golden Village Yishun cinemas with plenty of dinning shopping banking supermarkets library cinemas entertainments groceries sundries postage services community centre and amenities nearby. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students expats locals visitors and families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stock here not as varied as other locations. Queues leading up to peak period can stretch several aisles. I once waited for 40 minutes to buy coloured paper because the queues for payment were extremely long. But overall it's the place you go to for assessment books and finding reasons to spend. Outlet is actually rather small compared to other locations and more self payment kiosks should be added. More cashiers would be good too especially during peak periods.

Staff are usually helpful and approachable and we really enjoy the discounts and sales item at a designated from time to time. Worth visiting if you have kids in primary school and all.
