S	Sally Eats on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ been wanting to try since they opened their first outlet at city plaza, and finally I did. the batter tastes like regular western half spring chicken that I can order from coffee shop. not impressive but I guess I'm paying for an aircon environment to eat and wash my hands as there is in house sink. if eat alone have to get ala carte. 2pcs of chicken is $7.90 with coleslaw and fries. half spring chicken is $8.90 with coleslaw and fries. I ordered half spring ala carte and packed the balance home.

The chicken is super juicy and the skin is thin and crispy (and therefore not jelak). The pieces seem to be mostly thighs and drumsticks rather than breast meat which is great lol. The fries are also delicious as heck (best fast food fries I've tried other than Wendy's crisscut fries) - super fresh and soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. The downsides: they forgot to gave us the mashed potato and I only just realized this after checking their menu again, and the bun and the coleslaw are nothing to shout about (coleslaw tastes like the kfc one if you like that). Price is also quite steep for a fast food chain ($45 for the 3 person combo).
W	Walter Wu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've only had the Arnold's chicken at the City Plaza branch and the comparison is between that and the Yishun place. Waiting time is decent. Our whole chicken meal was ready in less than 10mins. The staff was polite and helped to cut the chicken in 4 pieces. Now the taste. The skin had a burnt taste which reminded me of plain flour fried too long. The flavour seemed to be lacking compared to City Plaza branch. Almost as if more plain flour had been added to the flavoured flour. On the plus side, the meat (I always take the breast while my friend gets the thighs. Why? Because) was juicy which meant it had been properly brined. Will I come again? No. There is a standard set by the main branch and if that standard isn't maintained, then better to go back there.
W	Weijie Aw on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been a long time since I had Arnold's chicken. It still taste the same as I remembered but when compared to other fried chicken outlets like Jollibee, the chicken seems to be less tasty and lack marination. Overall an average experience.

Their platter simply consists of fries, tenders and onion rings. It tastes like fried food which you can cook at home. The were also rather bland and could have used more seasoning like salt. There are other places which serve better fried foods.

The issue I have is the chilli - it's flat and when you pair it with such well-created fried chicken and you get ?. The place is well maintained and sufficient place to seat around for your meal.
