[Be warned] I'm unable to claim insurance when a tree branch fell and hit the top of the vehicle. Insisted that I should pay $500+++ for repairs when I can do so for cheaper at a shop in a petrol kiosk. I wouldn't recommend renting vehicles from here.

For the past 3 years that I've been leasing my car from Popular Rent A Car, the experience has been wonderful! Apart from the seamless service that they provide when it is time for my car's servicing or to return the car temporarily when I travel overseas, the service they provide is literally at your doorstep. Special mention to Ms Annie Loh who is always just a phonecall away, she gives me timely advice around the clock on my car issues. One of the most memorable incident was in December 2019 when my car's front left tyre was punctured along KPE. All I needed to do was to call Annie. She did all the rest to arrange for EMAS to tow my car out of the tunnel and even drove over personally with her colleague to help me replace the tyre with a temporary one. First thing the next morning, she sent her colleague to collect my car to change the type to a brand new one and delivered it back to my doorstep by the time I left my place for appointments for the day. Fantastic service by Annie and her team that I will strongly recommend to anyone who desires prompt, professional and pleasant service round the clock!

Reasonable service but not very customer friendly. The car I rented for Malaysia was given with 5/8 tank full. I was told to just return with the same amount of fuel, if not they will just deduct the amount from my deposit. I had to stop by and refuel first before being able to cross the border to avoid being fined by Singapore. After my trip, the tank was almost full when I returned since I wasn't able to estimate well getting the 'right' amount of fuel when I got it..I mean how could you?! So I lost some $$ on fuel I gave away to them and I also lost time to for having to refuel 2x for a day trip rental. I brought this up to the manager when I returned the car but they were unapologetic.
