Terrible Customer Service,A Great Hassle To Deal With,And Sneaky Practices... My wife made a booking for a car on her birthday.She received a Birthday Voucher which gives an $80 discount on the booking.In order to use the voucher,you need to go through a few steps,which is not very clear. My wife clicked on the Confirmation button before "activating" the voucher.She realised her mistake and did a cancellation.There's a cancellation charge,which is understandable. She cancelled and did another booking.The next day,she realized that not only was she charged for cancelling (which is fine),her second booking was also cancelled. Upon realizing this,she called up the customer service which,after 21 minutes of checking and putting on hold,the officer told her "Why don't you just email us?". She later found out that they will only take 3-5 working days to respond to the email.Not only that,instead of providing a refund,they will only give car credits.And this is not the first time they cancel her bookings without any reason. Consider this,if you already made plans and your booking gets cancelled,who do you go to for help?3-5 working days to respond?This is simply ridiculous! In summary,unreliable,quick to get your money,slow to refund.They make it a great hassle for you to contact them,you have no one to turn to for help.Be very cautious when dealing with them,be mentally prepared that your booking will be cancelled without any reason.

Wanted to terminate my membership and get my $100 deposit back but due to the merger with Tribecar, they will ONLY pay me in Tribecar credits. Even told me that if I go to CASE and Small Claims, I still won't be receiving my deposit back unless I accept the Tribecar credits. What in the world is this? I signed up with Car Club and paid you the deposit but now you just shift all blame to the merger and pay me with useless credits? Will be bringing my case to the relevant authorities.

Looks like i'm not the only one facing issues with CarClub as they migrate and merge with TribeCar. Serious integrity issues with this company and i'd warn anyone against having a membership with them. When you collect a REFUNDABLE deposit, it MUST BE kept as a refundable deposit! Not converted into whatever is deem fit! Whatever they've stated on their now auto directed website were not adhered to. How can someone run a company like this? To others who share the same experience, no need to go CASE or SCT. We can band together and hire a law firm to represent us, and expose CarClub's lack of accountability and responsibility.

Tried to cancel my membership with Car Club Singapore - Car-Sharing & Mobility Solutions Provider becuase i have no need to rent cars anymore on 15 March but was told on 23 March that I only have the option to switch over to Tribecar and lost my deposit. And now i receive the email that my deposit will be migrated over to tribe car on 1 Apr. This is not reasonable at all for customer. I don't even like tribecar. Can only say bye bye to my $100. This is really ridiculous. After i post on their hirers group, they decided to ban me from the group. Seriously. Please don't use them anymore.

Took the electric car out. Previous driver didn’t charge to 50% which is the requirement stated based on their own regulations. When I took it out, got trapped in a jam and car went out of battery. Had to call for tow truck which caused me $120 and another additional $30 for additional hours booked to wait for tow truck etc. Total $150 gone. Wrote in to car club and appealed and request for waiver TWICE. Almost a month has passed yet nobody bothered to reply and pretended that I never wrote in. Obvious case of not wanting to take responsibility. Say one thing in regulations about 50% charging power and doesn’t make the next client take responsibility instead. Was even told that there was time for me to charge before moving off??! I usually take the car when in a rush and did intend to charge it when I’m back but end up stranded. It takes at least half an hour to charge only to some 30%. If I’m in a rush, do you think I have the time to charge before moving off? If requirement says 50% charged and if it runs out of battery, why should I be the one paying? RIDICULOUS! Utterly bad service with no effort to provide any basic reply.

In Feb 2022, I was utterly disappointed by the service from Car Club. All I did was drive from Tampines (point A) to Punggol (point B), not even speeding for highway use. It is just so unfortunate and unsafe that the tyre burst during my unpleasant journey (no sharp nail or needles was found). I have checked the Tyre Year purchased was in Year 2018! For 4 years usage duration, how is it possible when the car is constantly used by others for rental and the tyre was not changed yearly? It is poor vehicle safety for users. The best part is they requested you to pay up for the replacement because you have already taken over the vehicle because you have done your initial inspection. :(
