The auntie was rude. We left without getting a haircut.

While the lady who cut my hair was ok but her skills are totally opposite of her Personality. Had stray hairs that I needed to trim off and the hair at the back of the head was cut poorly too. Not worth the money.

Visited QB House at Holland V today. Served by Ms Sharon Chin. she very friendly and professional. Thank you so much!!! Will visit again ?

Went for haircut today and one of the staff (Ms. Tee I think) is very unprofessional. Immediately when I sit down, she started saying the place is very basic and simple, cannot change hairstyle etc (although I never even have any intention to change hairstyle). I simply told her I wanted to have my hair cut short. Then she continued saying, cut short the hair will all come out everywhere, cannot cut bob hairstyle etc. The result is really a disaster. She really has no skills. The back is so uneven and poorly cut! Worst haircut I ever had. I don't have much expectation but the staff is so unprofessional and has no skills whatsoever. I would highly recommend K-cut at star vista. Same price, around the same area and the staff are much better. Will never visit this place again! waste of time and money!

I used to pay $70-90 for a simple haircut and have to book in advance and take an hour out of my schedule to travel to and from the salon. I walked past QB in Holland Village MRT dozens or times and then walked in one day...and the rest as the saying goes is history!

1st time try such express haircut service at QB House (HollandV MRT station). Hairdresser Gina explained how she would trim my short hair but she did not shave the stray hair on my neck properly. UPDATE: on my subsequent visits, I was attended to by another hairdresser, Sharon. I am happier with her cutting and service :)

My hair was past shoulders and I came to this place for a simple trim and thin. I told the hairdresser that I wanted to trim only 1 inch and to just do a general thinning for my hair’s frizz. I took my glasses off for the cut, but when I put them back on I was horrified to see my hair suddenly the length of a bob ABOVE my shoulders. I remember specifically saying only 1 inch but she had ended up taking off 3-4. It wasn’t even the nice kind of bob, but instead looked like I had grabbed a scissors and chopped all my hair off. This haircut ruined my life. When I got home, I inspected my hair and saw that she had left the upper parts of my hair still thick while the ends were VERY thin. It made my whole look gigantic like a wobbly toy. Nevertheless, I tried to stay positive about this telling myself that I can just style it in a way that looks decent. It did not work. I am writing this review 2 days after my haircut and needless to say my life has only went downhill ever since. How is QB House’s hairdresser so incompetent that they messed up the most simple thing a client could ask for??? Please do not go to this outlet unless you want to shave all your hair off. Because their haircuts will make you want to do that. Also, the staff were very rude and insulted my hair but I didn’t care that much as long as there are results. There weren’t.

About a 50/50 shot on getting a good cut. Latest haircut was an absolute disaster, specifically told the hairdresser on how I wanted my hair to be cut, length, thickness etc. Showed an example as well. She nodded but went ahead and cut it her own way; length of fringe while I addressed it to be just slightly above my eyebrows, it came up to near where my hairline is. Sloped sights were uneven and handled with roughly with the shaver. Requested to NOT thin the center of my head, in fact, told her to leave that alone. How is someone able to go against everything you requested for? No doubt it is just $12 haircut station but with how this was handled, it wasn't even worth half of the price paid for. It is not possible to mess this up even more than it has, its the POLAR OPPOSITE of what I requested for and it ruined my day. Seeing the other reviews here I can only guess who they were being attended to and the negative reviews seem to be directed the woman with the light colored hair stationed nearest to the entrance. Please do a skills test and review with this particular personnel and if needed to, send for an upgrading course. She's not giving a good rep for this store. Honestly it just seemed like she wasn't listening at all. Giving it 2 stars because the other dresser was great.
