Simonyo was great - professional and you could tell from even the way he held his scissors that hes a skilled barber. Good attention to detail too!

A very affordable place to groom your self especially for the younger gentlemen who are breaking into the workforce. Note the difference of a hair cut and hair grooming is more to how you would style the hair after. They will show you how to look presentable with the hair length you have chosen.

Had a haircut today by Joel. Cut looked great and he took the time to work with my curly hair to give me my desired look. Highly recommend!

I hardly write reviews but this time I feel the need to give a fair warning to potential customers who are planning to book a service here. I have been a loyal customer of Sultans for close to 3 years now (even bought packages and recommended family members/friends), therefore I have experienced enough of their service to make a fair judgement of their business. *Poor Attendance* The barbers here have a strong tendency to take last minute MCs and postpone your service. I got cancelled last minute for like the 7th time before finally deciding to give up on this barber chain for good. Sure the barbers are talented (not all btw - see my point below) but the professionalism when it comes to attendance is really poor. I have given feedback many times and these feedback does not seem to be flagged up to the management (or maybe the management doesn't care). I would think the remuneration structure set by the management is flawed. The commission based structure means that the barbers just picked and choose when to work (like a Grab worker), and show a lack of respect for the customer's own schedule when the customer has in fact set aside time to get his haircut done. *Inexperienced intern/novice barbers* Be wary when selecting barbers in the system. Those without any display pictures are likely barbers that are actually interns with little experience going through ITE course or new joiners with little barber experience. They are nice people but the fact is, you will be paying that same price ($29) for someone with less experience is a real let down. I got rescheduled once (due to last-minute MC) to a "non-display picture barber" in Riverside View and she completely butchered my hair. *Just a good barber's stepping stone to Sultans of Shave" If you don't know it yet, 'We Are Sultans' and 'Sultans of Shave' are essentially the same company. 'We Are Sultans' seems to simply be a stepping stone for barbers to gain experience and test their commitment/attitude. The good ones will then move on to 'Sultans of Shave' where you have to pay a premium ($55) for a haircut. Gideon from Holland Village was one of the barbers that moved and it's no surprise as his haircuts are decent and he has a really good attitude towards work. All in all, I'm sure my feedback will be taken lightly. Very sure that the response I get here is not from the business owners themselves but rather just a front desk/associate who deals with customer service. Sorry, but you have lost a loyal customer.

The partner gets his haircut here on a regular basis and to give credit when it’s due, he is always pleased with their barber services. But I can’t say the same for their management. While appointments are needed beforehand, there have been many occasions when his appointment was delayed (once even up to an hour), causing inconveniences in having to move our schedule to accommodate their tardiness. In some cases, his appointment was even cancelled at the last minute as the barber was unavailable. While it’s understandable due to unforeseen circumstances, the outlet’s way of managing is poor β€” there’s no effort at providing suggestions of alternative dates for rescheduling. He got the package as he really liked the service of one of the barbers, unfortunately he was transferred to another branch with a different price tier. Again, understandable that the package can’t be used in that other outlet, but with no clear communication of possible rotations or advanced notice of his regular barber leaving, it just came as a surprise when he found out and just leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

I am very disappointed in the service that they had provided. On the 28 dec 2021, i went to holland village sultans for a haircut and I asked for a messy quiff and had shown the barber clearly what i wanted and even after showing a photo of it , he gave me a totally different hairstyle and is hard to style as it was way to short. Before cutting i was actually excited about getting a haircut from sultans to welcome my new year, but after the haircut , i felt traumatised and i dont think i will be going back there anymore . An advice for the rest is pick the right barber that knows what you want or you may end up getting a haircut that is not what you wanted

I've never had a good haircut until I went to Sultans for the first time. I got my hair cut by Simonyo, and after talking about what hairstyle I wanted (I even showed a picture of it) he was able to recreate it. It really is worth your money to get a haircut here
