★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bread is close to inedible, even of lower standard compared to heartland bakeries yet the selling price is high. Don’t fall for the 4 for $6 promotion - you’ll struggle to swallow the dry, hard bread with meagre filling which tastes like cardboard. It used to be pretty good, I’m not sure what has changed.
The good thing about this place is it opens til relatively late and the staff is friendly. Unless you’re terribly starving, I’d suggest checking out Provence in Raffles@Holland nearby instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why the google rating is so bad. Their breads are good!! Good quality and the fillings are super generous. Price is really worth it too, 2 big loaves for $8. Please do support this bakery located within Holland V mrt! They also have freshly made waffles with many types of fillings.

Also the Beh Teh So, traditional chinese pastry, its fresh! Always get it when im there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing of every time I ask for the bread to be slice they will say they have wash the knife cannot cut thought it was late but check the time 7:30pm so if you do not provide service for slicing the bread I would like to suggest to put a sign for that and not until customer choose and queue up to pay only inform, also usually only the aunty there I see her working alone so I didn’t bothered to request but today 3 person standing at the counter there and telling me this….speechless
(FYI I only request when I buy those hard loaf bread like sourdough, baguette etc because I don’t have a bread knife at home and I never buy with discounted price) Anyway it’s just my own opinion their bread taste is not bad and I really appreciate when they help to slice my bread.. just need to try your luck
