Qi Le Boneless Chicken Rice - 744 Yishun Street 72

Wow seriously wow. This is below avg. Can't believe those who gave 5 stars review recently. Even my office food court chicken rice taste better.

This is the portion I got for half chicken! Come on~ even u remove bone also not this less~ very dishonest.

Smell of the rice from far and into the bus as I do a take away home this awesome Chicken rice. Free soup with peanut and chicken inside if you eat there or $0.20 when you take away. If you come here you will see many people is eating at this stall.

Another popular Chicken Rice stall in Yishun which is near to Yishun MRT Station. Can often see queue forming up infront of the stall. Although it just take up half of a stall space, it was well organised and the food is serve pretty fast. The generous amount of chicken meat come together with bean sprout and good amount of ingredients come in the tasty soup. One thing that might need improvement will be the chilli which is watery and not spicy enough.

Purchased half a chicken and this was what I got Scamed! It’s not even half a chicken. $18 for half a chicken And all I got was dried breast meat! They did not give me the chicken thigh and the meat portion is pathetic Very disappointed.. the amount of chicken is not even enough for 2 pax rice is $1 per portion Not going to buy from them anymore

I came three weeks ago. In my opinion, this is one of the better chicken rice in Yishun. I can't say best cus I haven't tried all. Most people won't know about this stall as it is just a very ordinary stall in a s11 kopitiam. But it's actually very decent over the years consistently. Roast chicken is ok. Not amazing but the flavour is there and while the chicken may or may not be frozen, it doesn't have the frozen chicken taste. The rice is always constantly good and fragrant. Personally the portion size is a little small for me but this is just your standard bowl size. They have a layer of beansprouts beneath the meat. Nicely salted and drenched with sesame oil. I always like my meal to have a serving of veg and this does the job so well. Their soup is peanut soup on most days and has pieces of chicken as well. Just look at the picture. For 1 pax I think this is very decent and always a safe choice whenever I'm in the area. However, you do need to get used to their service as they are constantly overwhelmed with queues. Finding a seat in this s11 kopitiam can be a challenge so avoid peak meal periods.

Qi Le boneless chicken rice not only they have increase their price from $4 to $4.30 eg.. They have also reduce the serving of bean sprouts (tao geh). Before the price increase the serving of bean sprouts is much more 3 to 4 mouth, now is like 1 to 2 mouth. Hence, the increase is more than 30¢. By the way, the chicken is place ontop together with the bean sprouts. The chicken rice is ok. Their soup of the day is good not oily and salty type.

Ate this for yearsssss and the standard is still the same. Rice is fragrant, legit chicken rice rice. My favourite white chicken rice with the bonus bits of fried garnish! Best part of the meal is the soup of the day, flavourful peanut soup! Not the plain clear chicken broth like most places do. Only downside is if you do takeaway, they will charge for the soup but its complimentary if you dine there.
