been here twice time to try different type crabs, twice time disappointed the source,( chilli crab source and black pepper source ) first time I tried black pepper crab, the crab is ok, but the source too salty . Second time I tried chilli crab , the chilli soure too funny tasted like the China sichuan , totally different with local taste. And the price also not cheap , one crab more than $100, the crab not value to eat .

Had dinner with my cousins. Food was all really good. Pig trotters claypot. Chili crab. Pork ribs. The beehoon clams. Everything was good and service is very good.

Occupying the entire ground floor of Bukit Panjang Khek community club is this restaurant that serves popular Chinese dishes. This outlet is the flagship store of the chain (other outlets are scattered islandwide, hawker style). Place was spacious and clean, fully airconditioned. Round tables. Table service. Crews were friendly and service was fast. Our food turned out to be great tasting, particularly the stew pig trotters and ligaments was exceptional.

The seafood is fresh and the food is nice. Recommend their lobster porridge, live lobsters used to cook the porridge. Lobster porridge - must try Salted egg sotong - crispy and rich taste?

I rate 2 stars is because the pig trotters was quite nice but the 罗汉斋 was tasteless and no " tao kee" at all (like what the picture showed on the menu). Actually we wanted to order the live prawns but we DARE NOT order as we sit near to the fish tank, we could see the prawns in the tank clearly, most of the prawns looked dead or struggling to survive! (Most of them turned up side down or lay one sided, no movement at all) As for service, it was lousy. The restaurant was busy at that time, no one bothered to attend to us, we tried to ask a waitress who walked pass our table, she shout from one corner to another corner, tried to ask her colleague to attend to us but no one came; another few mins later we tried again, the same thing happened. After don't know how long, finally we ordered the food, another long waiting time.....at least 40 mins then we got our 1st dish 罗汉斋， waited for 2nd dish for another 10 mins. There were about 4 other tables with at least 40 people dining in the same dining hall with us, they were from the same family celebrating some big day, they were talking and laughing loudly as if they had booked a private hall with no other customers around! They moved around each other's table, passing some food around and waitress also busy helping them to take photos. (Govn. rules released does not mean that the restaurant and customers don't have to do our part, Covid is not over yet! ) After these big group of people started leaving, the waitress started to clear up their table; she pushed a trolley (like the one use in hawker centre to clear food balance) and parked it very near to our table and started clearing the dish balance, when she throws the food balance into the dustbin on the trolley, she hit the plates against the edges of the dustbin to clear the food balance, those were crabs and lobsters shells also, the sauce will bounce up from the dustbin; this action was so near our table and we were still eating! end up we have to tell her to move further. We had a very unpleasant dining experience at this "restaurant" (more like hawker centre). Will never go back again.

Cosy restaurant with very tradition chinese deco, love the secluded location where the Khek Community Club is. Food is amazing and price is extremely affordable. Friendly and super polite staff made you feels like home, too bad parking space is a bit limited. However, you can take MRT to Bukit Panjang and walk across the street to get there.

A hidden gem in Bukit Panjang! Service was impeccable and food was amazing. Price is very reasonable for an air conditioned restaurant. Visited thrice in 2 weeks - goes to show how great the food was!

Staffs are very friendly and they do appreciate return customers like us… music sound system is nice and they don’t rush you to finish your food.. nice and yummy appetiser side dishes as well! Experienced chefs cooking, you can taste from the food.. no disappointment whenever we try different dishes..
