★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been buying bread and cakes from them , as their stuffs are nice and owners are friendly . Until I ordered a cake from them on 24th and to be collected on 25th evening . I was proposed to get the ready made cake as they claimed that it's fresh and they don't have enough time to custom made a new cake .
I agreed to it as they assure me the cake is fresh when I told them it's for toddler birthday , most importantly they have never disappoint me so far .
When we cut and eat the cake last night . It's not fresh as the sponge is already ' harden ' the fresh cream is not as fresh also. I know their standards.
I texted to inform them about the quality . Their reply is just : " ok noted , I will let them know " not even a word of apology. They should know very well whether their cake is fresh enough .
I writing here only after their disappointing reply to my feedback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bakery that sells stale, not fresh birthday cake. If your cake has been sitting at the fridge for more than 3 days or more...please do not sell it to your unsuspecting customer..especially when ppl buy the cake is to celebrate an happy occasion. For me, it's my father 80th birthday and this is the lousy cake that I bought. Hardened, stale and tasted bitter. Yuck.
