RELC International Hotel

Severely dated 80's looking hotel stuck in last millennium with even more pathetic service. Rude, obnoxious crew that couldn't care less which are in need of retraining or better yet, just sack them all! Front desk is pure rubbish! Read the other reviews to judge for yourself. Don't bother unless you want to be disappointed beyond your imagination. If Google allows 0 star, I would be happy to give them a big fat zero! Run far far away from this place!!

Definitely a little off from the main road. First look when you reach the hotel, doesn’t see it as a hotel but a language learning centre as the main building title. Very modest reception setting, very happy with the receptionist, the way she checked the details and any requirements before checking me in. The room is very spacious and a good getaway from the city, take time off for a retreat and reflection.

Front desk is rubbish. Please do not come. It’s a total waste of time. This is a warehouse instead of hotel. The water heater in the toilet is not working. The hose of the shower head is broken. The toilet is dirty too. Absolute waste of time and money.

Booked for a daycation. We got a good-sized room on the 12th floor. The room is functional, reasonably clean, and with basic amenities. Good hid-out for a few hours, away from the hustle and bustle of life ✌️

Pros: Room is big, free parking Cons: No swimming pool, no bath tub, Cafe opens at specific hrs only. Basically, nothing to buy except from vending machine. Try not to come during exam period, the cars were parking anyhow. Quite inconvenience to get food as we had to walk quite a distance. HBO was down at 10pm and we check out. Called the guest operator multiple times but failed to get any 1 to ans.

This is my second time staying here decided to come again because my first experience was good sadly I stand wrong. I booked a 3 days 2 night stay and I requested for late check out their initial quotation was $137++ to check out at 6pm instead of 12noon that was a day’s rate after “enlightening” them with that and requesting a breakdown their rates kept changing from time to time that I had to call in and discuss properly. Eventually they agreed to $70 Nett. On check in day we waited 30 mins for our room, the reservations team did not inform the receptionist on our late check out. When we finally entered our room the floor level was off you can literally see and feel that the room floor is slanted. The air conditioner motor sound was so loud that it was so annoying informed them and they said “ this is what it is in all the rooms” I was shown another room but even that room had the same issue so I decided not to change the room. The toilet had no bidget as well but that’s not really an issue. On one of the days for lunch I requested for plates from the restaurant unfortunately they told me I could only get plates if I ordered food from them I don’t understand how is this in place even when an in house guest requests for the plates it’s not provided mind that I had to personally go down to the restaurant because they do not have room service. Hotel’s wifi is not strong super weak as well. Upon check out they seemed pretty Unhappy that we over stayed irregardless to the extra chargers that I paid. They made me wait 20 mins to “inspect” the room only then I could leave. Overall if you’re looking for good service this is not the place. If you’re looking to just crash for a night then maybe.

Room is super big & spacious. Quite clean too. (But phone is faulty & needs to be deodorised. Unpleasant smell at mouth piece.) Room doesn't provide ice buckets, so please provide your own, otherwise u gotta pay $10 to buy it from the teochew restaurant downstairs. Parking is complimentary but is open-space type. Night shift staff Willie wasn't very polite... One big minus is that complimentary bottled water is fixed at 2 per day only. Anything beyond is chargeable at $2++ each. Location so so only. If u don't drive don't think u can get anything nearby. Only has vending machine on level 1 lobby area.

Room.was spacious and airy. It has a balcony w a nice view and toilet is clean and decent. However, there are 2 small things that I hope the hotel can improve on. 1 would b the service during check in and out. It took me quite awhile on both. And the other thing I realised was the toilet is actually.without a water spray bidet.
