★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite stall in Lor Ah Soo. It is not superb but it is one that I would eat if I am at this market. Compared to the other stalls here, the soup is better, just a note that the soups of wanton Mee here all seem diluted. This stall also has charsiew that is more nicely roasted, a chilli that kicks harder and noodle texture nicely done. But I will gladly go Kovan if I am in a mood for wanton Mee! Or even Guan Kee which is just downstairs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to their neighboring stall, Punngol Noodles. Unfortunately, they were not open for business today. Instead I decided to try the Wanton noodle stall next door. There was a short queue and I waited about 15mins before it was my turn. The noodle was okay; sauce was a bit salty for my liking. Charsiew was not bad so was the wanton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Wanton stall is my first time trying. Well i dine at there. To my suprise, the overall taste was GOOD. The Wanton some of it are fill with lots of pork ? The chili is okay and same goes with the noodle. Char Siew was Good too. Well would i go back again ? Most probably YES !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While waiting for my noodles, I was observing how Uncle tossed the noodles repeatedly in hot & cold water several time & the noodles texture turned out to be really al dente.
The lean char siew may look a little dry but surprisingly it’s soft.
Not a dumpling lover but I really love the crunchy filling, it’s like a XXXL wanton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the quality of the QQ noodles that are first cooked in hot water before tossing in cold water to achieve the bite. Fried wantons are generously filled, dumplings contain a small prawn each, and the soup tasted very good.
