★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The standard has dropped a lot compared to last time. I bought the mango Swiss roll and the mango in the cake is lesser than used to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily one of the best Swiss rolls I have eaten. Every bite is dense yet fluffy at the same time. It’s packaged really well as well and it would be good to give someone as well. Prices range from $9 to $10 per roll. Had the durian roll, although the durian is probably made from a mixture of pulp and artificial flavoring, it really isn’t that bad! Affordable for what it’s worth!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gave 2 star cos of the pandan kaya flavour. The durian used to be good, but I could hardly taste durian flavour in it this round. Only left artificial durian taste. Look at the durian filling/puree, it is so dark and 90% is cream. I still bite into undissolved sugar from the unfresh durian puree. Disappointed, would rather buy from Afternoon Tea (Chinatown) or buy actual durian. Won't be ordering for a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Background and Service:
Reached around 2pm on a Tuesday and waited for probably 10-15 mins with roughly 10 people in front.
I was pleasantly surprised by the service!Unlike what other reviewers have mentioned, the lady that served me (wearing spectacles) was friendly and patient.
Only Jewel has the mini sizes, the ones here are full size. Flavours left were kaya, mango, red velvet, coffee (and chocolate?) Tried the kaya and mango.
Smell:
Can really smell the kaya cream and mango purée.
Texture:
The texture is soft and easy to cut into, even with a plastic knife.
Looks:
There’s mango slices in the mango cream.
Kaya doesn’t look like much but once you bite into the cake, the kaya cream oozes out.
Taste:
Both rolls were pretty mild in taste. Mango is light and refreshing while kaya is hearty. The rolls in the middle are more moist than at the ends, so do consider cutting from the middle if you felt the ends are too dry. The taste improves a lot haha.
Overall:
I don’t eat much roll cakes, so with my limited experience I can say that it’s not as sweet as roll cakes from polar and they’re more generous with the cream filling, however, it still felt a bit dry, need to pair with tea/water. Definitely way better than the artificial tasting and dry london choco roll LOL.
I would say try it if you haven’t before!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had tried the durian and kaya Swiss roll. The Durian smell really good but the taste is average. Kaya is good. The cake is soft but abit expensive now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $12 for a pretty small Swiss roll. I always see a long queue at the shop so when I saw that there wasn’t any queue, I took the opportunity to grab a few rolls to try.
The cake is indeed soft & fluffy and the filling isn’t the sweet sweet kind, so it kinda fits my palette. Nevertheless, my friends & relatives tell me that they have downsized their rolls (especially the filling) significantly while raising prices… I think they should have at least maintain the quality and charge $12 for a “rich & luscious” roll…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soft and good!! Don’t think it’s that rich. Flavour was just right and not too sweet. But it’s really quite a small roll (probably good for two)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still tastes wonderful!!! Both Kaya and Mango are as yummy but the cakes seem thinner, and the cream in the mango roll is pretty thin. Will continue to support.
